    I am worried about a very strange change in the parameter "Cell X Offset = 1.000000". In all the other 37 (!) mods and in the original, the same parameter is 0.000000. Does that make any sense?

    This is really a bug fix in my opinion. This should have been implemented in the game. Why would these fires burn forever? Does Caesars Legion Keep the Holy Flame or something? Considering The rush out the door the game got its more likely an oversight. Also I suspect they were not too concerned about it and assumed most players don't return to Nipton. However there are plenty of good reasons to return to Nipton. There are a couple of tough locks that you probably wont be able to pick this early in the game and there are 2 side quests you can pursue. So coming back weeks later and finding These fires still burning is kind of immersion breaking. So Kudos to the author for fixing this.
