NVAC 7.5.0.0 fixes the Windows 10 Anniversary Update + up-to-date Nvidia / AMD video driver crashes / issues for the following:
    Fallout New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas No Gore (German)
    Fallout 3
    Fallout 3 No Gore (German)
    Oblivion
    GECK (New Vegas)
    GECK (Fallout 3)
    Construction Set (Oblivion)

It should also be installable via mod manager for New Vegas, Fallout 3, and Skyrim; would like confirmation that installing it via NMM, etc. works correctly for all 3 games (I only did minimal testing). Oblivion users will need to install manually (in Data\OBSE\Plugins).

To clarify, if you're using NVAC 7.4.0.0 or older and New Vegas crashes when loading a game, and nvac.log contains 00B57AA9, you're affected by the Win10AU issue.

Hello. New Vegas was running OK for a bit but now I cannot walk more than a few paces without it crashing. I did not install anything new but I did remove some clutter re-texture mods but it ran fine after that for quite a bit. My nvac.log reads as follows:

In response to post #65156846. #65157331 is also a reply to the same post.

    Spoiler:

    "Literally

"Since it's an NVSE plugin, nvac.dll goes in your Data/NVSE/Plugins folder." "

So if I'm trying to install this for Oblivion, and NVSE doesn't exist, becuase it isn't New Vegas, should I create a folder named NVSE inside of Data? Or should I use the OBSE folder?

Since the instructions were written for installing New Vegas Anti Crash into Fallout:  New Vegas, you have to make some adjustments to install NVAC into other games.

NVAC should go in the Plugins folder of whatever Script Extender applies for the game in which it is being installed.

In your case, it would be Data\OBSE\Plugins.

How the f*** do i install this mod manually? The description gives no instructions, and no mod creator should deduce that everyone is experienced with mod installing. Everyone should at least give a link to the instructions or tutorial.
Anyway, i placed the pluggin into Data/NVSE/plugins, but what do i do with the other files in the "fomod" folder in the mod .rar file?

Find OBSE here and follow the install instructions found there.

And why are you asking about OBSE in the NV pages?

Sorry, but I don't know where else to turn. I desperately need help. My New Vegas refuses to work at all.

I've cleaned out all the mods, reinstalled twice, copy & pasted my backup files, verified the game files a million times, and even resorted to installing a fresher version from a pirating site. Both the steam version and the pirate version crash either immediately on the launcher or instantly after I try to start a new game. I got the DX9 drivers for NV and DX12 drivers for Fallout 4, and I updated the NIVIDA drivers a month or so ago.

I simply cannot comprehend what the problem could be. I installed the 7.5.0 version of this mod as well, but it didn't help either.

You may need to set up your graphics settings in the options menu in the launcher.
Also, check your load order with a mod manager and make sure none of the DLC files are set to load before FalloutNV.esm.

Thanks, I can't access the graphics settings because the launcher itself crashes. Fallout.esm is the first in my load order.

NVAC just made my game crash so much before even getting the spinning wheel that i just disabled it from the frustration.
Now the game works, no crashes still.
I spent the evening hitting my head on the table trying to remember what i had done to the game, if i had changed something, but in the end it was nvac.
How can a DLL work for hours, never had a crash midgame, and then restarting the game the other day and find it does not let my game load?
Still, since i disabled it i've done about 5 hours without a crash.
Even most recent guides still give it as essential, but i get a pretty stable 60 fps everywhere with or without. No gunfights, just in and out of Freeside at high speed with my sprintmod, doing recollects, still to enter the strip.
Edit: minor hickups with casm. 1-2 frames every 10 mins, i set it to delay the saves, not very clear about it but for what i understood it should reduce scripts usage. also have autoloot enhanced but that does not hit me in any way.

This is pretty much completely broken, and the the uploader hasn't given a s*** about any of the bug reports telling them so. Which is sad, because one of the fixes for a mod that I'm trying to use is to run this. Which, again, is broken.
