NVAC 7.5.0.0 fixes the Windows 10 Anniversary Update + up-to-date Nvidia / AMD video driver crashes / issues for the following:
    Fallout New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas No Gore (German)
    Fallout 3
    Fallout 3 No Gore (German)
    Oblivion
    GECK (New Vegas)
    GECK (Fallout 3)
    Construction Set (Oblivion)

It should also be installable via mod manager for New Vegas, Fallout 3, and Skyrim; would like confirmation that installing it via NMM, etc. works correctly for all 3 games (I only did minimal testing). Oblivion users will need to install manually (in Data\OBSE\Plugins).

To clarify, if you're using NVAC 7.4.0.0 or older and New Vegas crashes when loading a game, and nvac.log contains 00B57AA9, you're affected by the Win10AU issue.

Same here. Windows 11 Event Viewer shows:
      Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\FalloutNewVegas\Fallout New Vegas English\FalloutNV.exe
      Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Tried this mod as well as multiple others, didn't work.

So, my game keeps crashing even with NVAC, it crashes and shows a message saying "Out of Memory". What should I do?

You'll need the 'FNV 4GB Patcher'. Read the instructions carefully. The mod should fix your memory issues.

There aren't any. NVAC will conflict with any crash logger you use. Crash logger is what you want to use if you want to resolve problems, but NVAC is what you use to suppress issues.

What crash logger are you using? I have been looking everywhere for a crash logger that works with new vegas anti crash.

Whenever I try to install this mod, the mod manager tells me that the "object reference was not set to instance of an object." I am using Windows 11 and have downloaded the game via Xbox Game Pass. What can I do to fix this?

If you have an amd gpu thats the problem. Best solution is to rollback your drivers to the 23.12.1 version.

There is currently a problem with those who use a AMD gpu with 24.x.x drivers. The best way to alleviate this problem is to use a mod called DXVK, it changes the game from DirectX 9 to Vulcan instead.

Also you need to play it in windowed and not fullscreen or you will get performance problems.
Use the launcher to put the game into windowed mode.
To remove the window border and make it effectively borderless windowed use a mod called One Tweak.
Another thing to note is that when using DXVK mod you also need another mod to fix the save game image bug that occurs when using it.
You need NVSE for the middle two mods for them to function correctly.

      HDR Save Image Patch https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/82985
      One Tweak https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79211

Is there a fix for the characters having no hair in the game, saw one for nvidia GPUs with D3D9 but I have a AMD and rolling back the driver destroys the FPS for some reason

My game does not have the NVSE\Plugin folder....
    Do I just create it?

Go easy on me, its been a decade since I tried to mod everything. Im old now.

do you have new vegas script extender installed? if you do then yes, or it should be created for you after extracting NVAC into the NVSE folder.
