Ah, probably late to the party with this seeing how this hasn't been interacted with for almost 7 years, but might be worth a shot asking:
Does anyone know how to set the Q and E button in 3rd person to not be toggle? So that it acts more like a traditional "lean" where you have to hold it?
Example, my desired behaviour is that holding Q would move the camera to the right and then automatically went back to default position after releasing the button. Right now Q and E both make the camera toggled to the respective side, and then you have to hit it again for it to return.
Oh yeah I know that mod - in fact it's the reason I was asking for this camera feature here so it could actually mesh with the Enhanced Movement, because EM doesn't move your camera at all whether you lean left or right. (and the 3rd person camera overhaul linked in the description is only used to switch shoulders)
This mod not only offers different styles of sneaking systems but also an entirely similar gameplay style to deus ex. On top of other things if you use bleed you can get another overkill damage boost to make bullets feel really realistic on impact with 300x boost and that part atleast never felt unstable. Except the creatures buff since that one never sticks for some reason
How well does this mod perform alongside Realistic Stealth Overhaul ESPless and Dynamic Stealth -- Lighting Modifies Sneak? I know all 3 are compatible but not sure how much they "compliment" each other, so to speak...
RSO Tweaks your 'weight sounds' in two words, Dynamic Stealth buff sneak in shadows, This mode tweaks enemies cone view and some minor things, so it would fit and play perfectly
Both compatible with each over, also with RSO and Cover Based Stealth, but you need to tweak combat enhancer in NVEdit, for more info check posts in combat enhancer, also disable Ai Overhaul Enemy heal, very buggy feature
does anyone know what the vanilla detection distance is? having issues with npcs in dungeons detecting me from too far away and all swarming to the entrance.
With MCM, open Mod Configuration, Cover Stealth, and the first option is "Chase Camera Mode", set to Inactive/Vanilla.
I have occasionally seen it bug out when messing with other mods/load order or something, and the camera will reset to the default centered position. To fix this I think all you have to do is select a different position, close the settings to let it apply, then change it back to inactive. (I think)
Love the mod, would be cool if there was a version/preset that added more visual detection without reducing the way enemies react to sound or you being near them, so as to make it more difficult to be undetected at all. The main issue i have right now is enemies not reacting to me chainsawing their friends just a few meters away, just because their backs are turned.
I may have installed the leaning mod wrong, but if the first person camera only tilts on one axis, then it really doesn't work. Leaning in first person should tilt the camera, as well as move the camera slightly to the right or left. In the True Leaning mod, it just moves on one axis, and completely fails as a mechanic for stealth because there's no visual advantage.
Hello, I have a question : How do I make the TOGGLE LEAN function workable with this mod? Right now, it's just faded out and I can't activate it. Thanks :)
