It was a while ago when I made it, but from what I remember it is completely separate, meaning the Cass mod only affects Cass. If you want Arcade to stay you need the main mod as well.
Just for clarification, is Arcade leaving you after you have already recruited him, or is he just refusing to join up with you in the first place?
This mod only prevents him from leaving you after you have already recruited him. If you already have high legion rep before recruitment, you have to wear a ncr uniform (or any other non-legion uniform) for the first recruitment.
I already recruited him and he is leaving me when I side with the Legion during, "For Auld Lang Syne" (his companion quest). He also left when I decided to activate Archimedes II.
The only thing that this mod does at the moment (might expand it in the future) is stop him from leaving you when your legion rep is high. I haven't tried to fix the problem when he leaves you after the companion quest for siding with the legion because it can mess with the ending slides of the game, though there is a workaround available to keep him if you're interested.
What you do is send him back to the lucky 38 once you are in the bunker, just before you talk to the remnants. You can then side with the legion, and recruit arcade again once you are back at the lucky 38. He won't have anything to say about it, though this method does mean he doesn't have an ending slide, unless you sell him into slavery to Caesar to remove the tumor.
Is there a way to keep Cannibal Johnson in the Enclave group when you side with the Legion, that would be awesome to have the whole gang together when you join the Legion
I don't have the game installed currently, but It would be possible at some point. Could probably add a speech check with him in the G.E.C.K. Would have to take a closer look at the script for the battle of hoover dam though, as he will probably be flagged as hostile to the legion by default.
The only 2 other characters that should be a problem are Cass and Boone. Cass Is easy to fix (Since it's tied to karma rather than reputation), I'll upload the mod to the optional section now, since I already had that made for myself a while back. The "warnings" still happen, except for the last one.
As for Boone, you can keep him in the normal game. He leaves when you have high legion rep, and you can't hire him if you have low ncr rep. But, you can just wear a faction armor when talking to him, which temporarily sets all your rep to 0. You can then take it off and travel with him. The only time you need to reequip the faction armor is when you are re-recruiting him after dropping him back off at the lucky 38 or back in novac. There's also a mod called "Boone Gets Along With Legion" which should stop Boone from shooting the legion on sight. Not tried it myself, but it should work
