This mod adds a new companion, Argon, the nightsalker. It can be found in Goodsprings, near the Prospector Saloon, and at the moment it just wanders around until you want to recruit him; in future updates I'm planning to add a quest to discover him, but I like to do my best, so it will take some time. Argon can follow you, wait, and return to Goodsprings; if it is injured, you can heal him via dialogue options (you need Stimpaks, some Medicine skill or some water). Also, I created a custom sound template to REMOVE THAT ANNOYING RATTLESNAKE SOUND that makes me crazy after 5 minutes! Its damage is 35, so It has decent attack but not too much overpowered, and its life is 570 in normal mode ans 390 in hardcore mode (read below). Even if I am Italian, the dialogues are all in english. I have decided to make all replies of Argon with a "..." not because I'm lazy but because I don't like <bark> or <woof>.<br><br><br><br><br><br>============<br>==FEATURES==<br>============<br><br>The main feature in this mod is an "Hardcore" mode, designed to all users that want a more realistic experience (don't imagine an extremly difficult thing; after all, the player has more life than a supermutant...). but is COMPLETELY UNRELATED to the game Hardcore mode. Hardcore mode includes:<br><br>-Argon (the creature) has less life<br>-You need 1-3 Stimpaks to heal him (instead of 1)<br>-Argon reacts to friendly fire (in normal he doesn't)<br>-You need 3-4 bottles of water to heal him (instead of 2-3)<br>-You can't heal Argon with Medicine skill<br>-Argon, being a nocturnal creature, looses much of his perception during the day<br><br>In both Hardcore and normal mode Argon IS essential (can't die) because after many tests I had to choose between an overpowered Argon that can survive to supermutants but kills humans in one hit or a weak Argon that die continuously in combat. If you really want to make him not essential, open GECK, select my mod, search "Argon" under creatures and untick "Essential".<br><br>Another feature included from version 0.2 is the possibility of healing Argon by using your Medicine skill instead of Stimpaks (only available in normal mode). If your Medicine skill isn't high enough you can still heal Argon with Stimpaks.
