Terrain will now be visible from a distance. Which is kind of the whole point. See 'updates' under files. And you won't have to download the entire archive once more.
Hi padobell...that means you are missing a texture. De-activate the mod and re-install. If it happens again, then download the mod again, might be a bad download. Hope this helps.
I Just want to know if u could made a weather mod for the mojave, cause tour sunset Is fantastico and i'm amazed of your lighting, seems like a truly Sunny and Dusty landscape
Since the Sierra Madre is supposedly on the north rim of the Grand Canyon, would it be possible to make a mod that makes you spawn on the far side of this worldspace? A long introspective walk back to the Mojave would be a nice way to finish off the experience.
Wonderful work. The scenery is absolutely fantastic, worth every second of exploring or simply sitting by the campfire, listening to the wind and enjoying the view. This is really, really something. Here are a few quick recommendations for other mods to use while you're in Dry Canyon, to make the experience even better: 1 Bring a companion. Not for the action, but simply someone to enjoy the views with. I really appreciated Willow's chatter :-) 2 Even though the mod has its own weather which is basically nice during the day, the nights are pitch black and you might want to decorate your shelter (you'll find it and it's part of the exterior) with a working campfire and a lamp or two. You'll thank me when the night comes :-) Also, the nearby campfire (which is extinguished but is still smoking) will definitely be better with a log to sit on. You can do all that with KDS Portable Camp Stuff - NVSE and KDS Portable Camp Stuff - NVSE - New Vegas Fixes. 3 If you'd like to camp at a place of your own choice, then bring along the tent from Portable Tribal Tent. It's its own interior cell. 4 Personally I prefer the solitude of the place - me, a companion and just the local lizards and such - but if you'd like to populate it a bit or if you build e.g. a ranger station, you can populate it with All Out Spawner. 5 And last but not the least, even though this place is perfect for exploration on foot and in general at a slower pace, before leaving such places I always like to take a look from high up, i.e. to check it out with a vertibird (I'm using Vertibird Player Home). And the canyon is just wide enough for a crazy ride :-)
Totally recommended!
P.S. Oh yes, the cave entrance overlaps with two other mods' cave entrances (busy location...) belonging to AWoP and to Cave Pack. So when you reach Cave Pack's cave entrance, just noclip through (console tcl) and you should find the cave you're looking for. In my case, I entered AWoP location, exited it, and as soon as I got out there was a pop-up message about leaving for Dry Canyon.
For those in doubt, unzip main file and its update in the same folder then repack with Winrar then add it in MO2. Inside the archive, those files should be side by side : Dry Canyon - Main.bsa, Dry Canyon.esp, LODSettings.
not knowing what to expect from this simple mod i have only one word to sum it up. AMAZING!
the whole area from the highest peak to the lowest canyon valley is amazing and it feels like you have stepped into a John Ford western. the attention to detail such as the skulls on the posts at invisible wall markers is an esspecially nice touch, the isolation and feeling of being so small in such a big landscape really hits you as you cross the bridges and watching the sun set / rise over the sky boxes is something everybody should appreciate.
some would ask for npc's/ quests and "life" to be added to this mod but personally i feel that would be missing the point. finally theres a place added to the Mojave where if you ever wanted you could "escape to".
an amazing mod for those willing to appreciate what it gives and dose exactly what it says in the discription
This mod is exactly what I always wanted for my New Vegas. Just an open expanse of desert, nothing to fancy, no people around, just a place I can explore by myself with small details to find as my reward, to take in the feeling of the place. I always loved the deserts in the south-west of the US and wanted to see them with my own eyes so since I can't mods like these somewhat give me this experience and I'm incredibly thankful for it.

There's only one thing wrong with this...it's too small. It just makes me want to keep walking...and I can't.
