Before leaving a comment, please make sure you've read the mod description (all of it - don't be lazy). It is very likely you will find your answers there, without having to wait for me to reply.

When reporting issues of any sort, please make sure you are using the latest available version of the mod, otherwise update first. Older versions will not be supported.

Just an FYI to any gamers in 2024 -- This mod, when it works, is great. That being said, I'm lucky if it actually loads with my game 1 out of every 10 loads, despite being the literal last plugin in my load order...

I've been using it for a couple years now and have never encountered it not loading. Might be your modlist bud.

By "modlist", you mean the 5 mods downloaded from VNV? Sure bud. Tomes right. Mod works at sporadic and random times. Someone in the comments said it may be Stewie tweaks, due to that mod optimizing some game functions which leads to CCC not loading in time so its completely random when it works and doesn't work. I know JIP is the one that created the most important script extender, but this mod has not been updated in 7+ years. Check the console, it has an error message even when disabling every other single mod (besides the required of course).

Not everything needs constant updates. That's not an indication of a broken mod. I get you're having issues and you're clearly frustrated, but consider this: There are many people like me with hundreds of mods using this with zero problems. Maybe try going on the discord and asking for help instead?

    Hi everybody!
I can't rehire two of my six companions that I was forced to fire when I was fixing a glitch. They are not added automatically. And when I aim at Willow (mod) and Sunny Smiles (vanilla) and press the force recruit key, a "no target" message appears.
Has anyone experienced difficulties in rehiring?

This is my First playthrough with TTW and a hard limit is set on the number of companions. This is true even if you have custom companions. The game knows. There use to be a plethora of MODs that would help with this but most if not all Do Not  work in TTW. This actually works as it works through JIP. In fact its written by JIP.  I usually like to have at least 3 followers so I can use combined arms and tactics. There's a lot of granular controls which you can use that give you the ability to give commands individually or as a group without using Dialogue. You don't have to use it though you can just use it to get multiple followers. It will also give you the option of force recruiting non standard NPC's. This will not work on normal NPC's that are meant to be recruited through quests or have Karma requirements. Those you will have to get the normal way. There is a way in game to get around Karma and that is the Charisma Bobble Head. So get that early in the game and use JIP CCC and you can have an army if you want one. It does recognize if you are running a MOD for an in Game Vanilla character to have them be a follower and has Icons for them already. So I have been using this for a few weeks and so far so good. Highly recommended and Endorsed!

Was just looking for some help .. I have read the description, but still have no idea how to recruit NPC’s. I can open the configuration menu using Shift+C. But I don’t actually understand how to recruit random NPC’s .. ?

Edit: I can set hot keys in the command menu, but still nothing works .. NPC’s aren’t flashing green and nothing happens.

How do I remove force-recruit companions?  I can't seem to figure it out despite reading the description page.  Thanks.

This mod is broken or conflicting for me. Any known conflicts with oHUD or anything else? I have very few mods installed outside of the Viva New Vegas load order, and everything runs fine until I turn this mod on. I tried to troubleshoot and replicated the issue, with this mod my game will invariably crash within 10 minutes, usually in combat.

check the MCM menu and you can turn that on or off, and post-combat healing, too.

have the same issue, no idea how to fix. they seem to stop combat momentarily and then start combat again mid fight, which triggers the post combat healing.
