Back when starting the game, I had a bit of a giggle at thef irst Wild Wasteland Easter egg, and happily grabbed the Suave Gambler's Hat to place it on my character's head. Only, since I had a female character, the hat abruptly transformed into a feathery pile of Brahmin dung. What the heck? So I set out to make it useable by female characters.
Only to see that the hat itself also needed a major facelift. So I went ahead and gave it a new coat of paint.
"But wait," you say, "What if I liked the feathery pile of Brahmin dung?"
Well first I would be confused and questioning your taste, but fear not, for I have made the pillbox it's own stand alone object called the Pilferer's Pillbox that you can pick up in one of the booths at the Prospector's Saloon. It's been retextured by yours truly to be more photogenic, including some new feathers in that hat.
For the sake of equality, it looks the same on both male and female characters, but it really looks better on individuals with hair.
"Wait, did you say hair?"
Yeah, the pillbox doesn't take up a hair slot so you can wear it with your hair down. Oh and also, there are two different versions of the mod. The normal version actually has the fedora categorized that you can wear it with your hair showing, with a slightly adjusted mesh to be more accommodating. Unfortunately, it still tends to clip with a lot of things.
For that reason the Less Hairy Edition of the mod has it set to take up the hair slot and retains the original mesh. Enjoy.
