   This unfortunately didn't work for me; tested after installing it + I had  Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch installed as well but neither restored the missing audio. 
   
   I'm pretty late to this but I just started modding New Vegas, dunno if anyone will even see this.

      did you find anything that would make these sounds play? spending 300 caps on black screen for 1 second is ridiculous

   Hehe now I can finally hear Fisto drill me again :)
   
   But I remember the Xbox 360 version having these at some point back in the day. Glad I now know I wasn't misremembering that.
