For their weight and value the Merc outfits had a comparatively low degree of protection, this tweaks the stats so they boast 3 DT instead of 1 DT

It struck me as strange that some of the more stylized outfits in the game offer almost no protection, what more simple outfits like "wasteland wanderer" are both lighter, cheaper, and offer more DT than the merc outfits.
So basically this just tweaks the merc outfits so they have a damage threshold that corresponds to their comparative weight; 3 DT, instead of 1 DT. They weight Half the weight of leather armor, so they get half the DT. Pretty simple concept!
This isn't drastically game changing, though it may make the Bison Steeve hotel slightly harder. On the other hand it makes the merc outfits a lighter, early-game alternative to leather armor so pea-shooting weapons won't bleed you dry so easily.
