Crossbow for the wasteland got removed from the Nexus. Find it on moddrop. (I know a lot of people hate moddrop, but there's no other way to get this mod)
Yea someone with power should Pin the link to the Crossbow for the wasteland v2.0.1 release that's found on mod-drop. Uploaded by Gerbilly. That would help future people find it immediately.
ok this is wierd, loot says that that prewar crossbow is missing it"s esp when i have in the data folder. i have tried to installed it with both FOMM and manualy but it just won"t work. i think your mod needs a update and fix this this bug. the rest of my load order is fine all green.

As for reports of lag spikes, that's mostly caused by using C4 ammo.
If you do and release just please give credit to the original crossbow mod as a courtisy, ty.
