FUTURE PLANS -- As of right now, the only extra thing I intend to do with this soon is to figure out how to make them teleport back to their starting locations when you dismiss them, rather than making them walk. I'm afraid of them getting lost along the way. In case anyone Does have them get lost in the interim, I've given their reference IDs and instructions on how to use the console to teleport them to you, below the installation instructions and credits.

DESCRIPTION

Sometimes you find yourself awake too late, and bizarre thoughts occur. I made a Legion Alien, then just decided to make a set of them, and make them companions. I’m not very advanced at scripting, so they are pretty simple companions. (If anybody wanted to take the ball and run with it, I’d be happy to see it happen. Just let me know first.) You can get all six following you at once, but I’ve found that having too many around starts to make my laptop crash, so consider yourself warned.

The aliens can be found in one of the logical places for their faction-outfit. I’ll put the list down below the installation instructions and credits if you don’t want to hunt them down on your own.

INSTALLATION – Sometimes FOMM and NMM have trouble with my mods, I think based on some of the other stuff that I leave in there, like screenshot folders. Hopefully they’ll take this one okay, but if there are problems follow these manual-install instructions.

Download 7-zip or winrar
Extract the files, drag and drop the Data folder in your New Vegas folder and allow for merge and overwrite as necessary. By default install, the New Vegas folder is located here: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas
Activate the jocenvaliens data file in FOMM, NMM or the launch menu.

DE-INSTALLATION -- erase the esp “jocenvaliens”.In the Data folder, under meshes and textures, find the following folders and delete them.
Data/meshes/dlc05/creatures/aliens
Data/textures/creatures/aliens
Feel sad.

To bring them back to you open the console, type prid "refID" where "refID" is the number listed next to their name. Their name should pop up at the top of the screen.
Then enter the command moveto player and they will appear next to you.
