DESCRIPTION
GENERAL INFO: This mod adds a set of dark, trench-coat outfits and a steampunk hat. The outfits come in both a full-coverage and skimpier version for both males and females. The coat is an accessory with the skimpy version. Also included as accessories are a variety of armor pieces and ammo belts. As they are separate items, they may clip through certain outfits, but they can be worn with other mods as well. The armor pieces were fit specifically to the full version, and the ammo belt was fit specifically to the male skimpy, so they will not fit quite as tightly with the other variants, and the ammo belts will clip through the female model. Just so you’re warned.
STATS: As with all of my outfits, I tried to make the Damage Protection, value, and general information for these as realistic as possible based on the vanilla game. Each piece provides a few points of DT, and they stack, but this isn’t power armor. It Does, however, provide an effect that boosts your barter, speech, luck, and charisma, for your typical charming sociopath to con, cheat, and steal. The hat provides the standard perception bonus.
REPAIR LIST: The outfits repair from any Merc outfit. The armor and ammo-belt parts repair from leather armors. The hat repairs from pre-war hats.
INSTALLATION – Sometimes FOMM and NMM have trouble with my mods, I think based on some of the other stuff that I leave in there, like screenshot folders. Hopefully they’ll take this one okay, but if there are problems follow these manual-install instructions.
•Download 7-zip or winrar
•Extract the files, drag and drop the Data folder in your New Vegas folder and allow for merge and overwrite as necessary. By default install, the New Vegas folder is located here: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas
•Activate the jowastelandscoundrel data file in FOMM, NMM or the launch menu.
DE-INSTALLATION -- erase the esp “jowastelandscoundrel”. Find in your data folder the appropriate jonasclothes mesh and texture folders. Delete the Wasteland Scoundrel folders. If this is your only mod of mind, you can delete the entire jonasclothes folder. Feel sad.
