    I'm not sure if anyone will see this but I am having an issue, the guy that I need to get my gear back from will not spawn and I am not sure what the issue is.

      You might have used the version version of the mod, if you use the "Freeside Open" version when not using Freeside Open mod, Dooly (or whatever his name is) will spawn in the "wrong" instance of Freeside.

    When i speak to the guy next to Betsy, there is no voiced dialogue. Is that normal?

    i'm trying to create a Merged patch for NV uncut 1-7 .esp to save on my load order, but Betsy keeps wanting to be a master file. Is it safe to remove it as a master using xEdit?

    Public Service Announcement: Don't download the file that is compatible with Open Freeside if you dont use that mod (and you shouldn't use it because it breaks you game). It will break the If It Wasn't For Betsy Quest and cause you major pain

    Quest is bugged. After Betsy vanishes the first time, she's just gone forever. You can talk to Kevin but the pen is empty, and when he opens it he gets stuck and can't be interacted with again. I lost so much stuff because of this /:

    Can't talk to Tom either.

    Notes because I'm sure someone will ask:
    Yes, I have the freeside open version with freeside open.
    Yes, I checked inside freeside and around the walls as well.
    Yes, I checked my player homes.

    So is this not compatible with unlimited followers mods? I try to use Betsy and EDE at the same time and it's not working.

    I like Betsy except I have 2 problems:
    -Betsy always dismisses herself when entering buildings despite the pop-up saying she'll be waiting outside unless manually told to wait.

    -After triggering the "If it weren't for Betsy" quest and passing the Perception check. Confronting the brahmin vendor and retrieving my gear I can't pick Betsy back up as a companion. I can't even engage dialog with her anymore.Same with the vendor, he just says 'you got your brahmin back, leave me alone.' Did I do something in the wrong order? I'm confused. Perhaps there's a console command to force party joining or open dialogue?

    Related: the failed perception check dialogue is a mess of terribly broken English. Not a bug I guess, just a typo.

    I'm using Freeside Open and the FSO compatible version of Betsy.

    EDIT: seems I was doing things in the wrong order. I talked to Betsy before retrieving my stuff previous and that seems to break her. I loaded a save and tried again this time passing the Besty check, confronting Hargrove then getting my stuff back, THEN talking to Betsy again to regain her companionship.

    Before I immediately talked to Betsy again after confronting Hargrove, with out retrieving my lost gear first. Still might be a quest order bug that could be fixed as it's easy enough to talk to NPCs in this order and flub things without meaning to. Still durp on my part though.

    I doubt anyone will see this, but I would like to make a suggestion. perhaps we could bring her to big mountain, give her some upgrades, she can carry more? maybe put some rockets on her? or maybe that is the quest and im just stupid. just thought id put this out there.

      You can bring her to Big Mountain with "Old World Blues Tweaks". Search and see

    I haven't had any problems with this mod until now. I've had it installed since the beginning, I've completed her quest, and I've had Betsy in my party off and on since then. She's currently in my party and now all of the sudden I can't speak to her to dismiss her. I need to dismiss her so I can get ED-E back, but when I open the companion wheel and select talk, it just closes.

    I just realized the last thing I had done was go to Vault 34 with Betsy in my party. It didn't occur to me until just now, but I remember Vault 34 being notorious for teleporting waiting companions inside, even if you left them outside or on the other side of the world. She waited outside though and never got teleported in. I hauled the loot out of the vault and loaded it on her, the sold it all at Crimson Caravan. I wanted to dismiss her to go get ED-E, but I can't initiate dialog to dismiss her. I tried to use one of the companion dismissal terminals, and it's acting as if Betsy isn't even a companion. It tells me all companions have been dismissed, but she's still there.

    I didn't know about the remastered version of this mod when I started this game (or if it was even out then) and it's too late to switch now.
