im able to use table lighters but i have not found a lighter in loot or seen a vendor selling one (not even the tops theater bartender). no clue how to fix
This mod has completely derailed my current playthrough. Where I once was a courier driven by vengeance after being shot in the head and left to rot in a shallow grave, I'm now a cigarette crazed fiend digging through the trash of the Mojave for my next puff.
thanks for making this mod! Even though I don't smoke in real life, I named my courier after myself and she has my personality. Everything I can't imagine myself doing IRL is what Kat does. She's a good hearted character but I was always interested in characters that smoke, drink and swear. Yeah I know, I'm a naughty girl....lol
I cant find a lighter anywhere, so i have no idea if this mod works or not....... PLEASE give an item code so we can spawn one in the console. for testing and such.
It makes sense you'd find lighters in meatbags because supermutants slaughter people and put their mutilated corpses and whatever they were carrying in there
Before downloading and installing I would like to know one thing: when the character has to extinguish the cigarette what happens? Throw it away? Throw it down and crush it? Or he extinguish it on his tongue??
None of the above. There's no smoking animation. When you light up, a cigarette (or whatever) "armor" item is equipped. When you finish, it's unequipped and deleted.
would you ever consider making this TTW compatible? apparently it edits child hairs that make Tranquility Lane CTD (i played the game with the mod installed and just turned it off for TL and had no problems though. i just imagine this is tedious for some people, and also the official TTW website outright say not to use your mod, which imo sucks a lot for you, so a fix would get them to stop doing that, i guess, is my rationale here?)
This mod doesn't edit any vanilla records whatsoever aside from a few cell edits to add lighters to the casinos. I've played it w/ TTW myself without issue. I don't know where you read that, but I don't see how it can be right.
I've played with animated smokes in NV, it's cool at first but gets tedious after a while, you basically have to stop playing for 10-15 seconds every time you light up. Not only does it add up once you get addicted, you can't control your character while the animation runs and there is no way to stop it, so if you get attacked during that time you can't defend yourself. This mod, and Edisleado's left out the animation for good reason, IMHO.
