>NEWS!!! v2.0 is up with a TOTALLY REDONE Hideout. I swear its totally different house, much more complex and better suited to my fellow nexus members.
First of all, I'm Brazilian so forgive me for any grammar errors.

>>Initial Declaration:
Breton Warrior allowed me to modify his original Water Tower Mini-vault mod and upload it, so the idea of living in a post-apocalyptic probably irradiated and destroyed gigantic water tank is all thanks to him!

>>Description:

The idea of living inside Water Towers amazed me since Fallout 3, but I always felt it was lacking some features that I only found on some famous house mods, so I decided to go back to my favorite and first home and upgrade it, creating a home that has that feeling of fallout and the safety of a hidden home.

So a new Water Tower Hideout was born, I modified a LOT of things from the original mod (actually in v2.0 the only thing left from Breton Warrior was the top of the tower), but it is still a good place to drop your guns and relax, drink a beer and enjoy a great view of the wasteland. It also has:

>Generator that you have to fuel it with flamer fuels every 2~3 days depending on what you do in the tower. You can turn it ON and OFF at will and It will remember how much energy it had left.
It also have a Awesome Lever with sounds. Be advised that you need this to run pretty much everything in the tower.

>Flagpole that you can use to raise the Don't Tread On Me Flag from Liberty Loft or the NCR, Legion and even Followers of the Apocalypse Flags (depending on your reputation with those factions)

>Garden so you can eat some real organic food for a change...

>Broken Hunting Rifle for your repair skills training and general raider sniping.

>Mannequin Practice Targets placed far away in the tower view that compliments you if you shoot at it.

>Aquarium with pretty fishes.

>Water Pump. Let me explain this one. The tower has water below the floor grates. As you use the shower it starts to drop. If you dry out the tower you will need to start the water pump to pump more water inside the tower (don't worry it doesn't flood your home) so you can use the shower again. For now it only does this.

>New tower model!Better collision and you can walk on the tower sides!

>Unlockables! As you progress through New Vegas quests and gain reputation, you will unlock posters, new garden plants, a tent so you can keep an eye in those Radscorpions without getting sunburned, a scripted Humvee that can take you to many of the main cities in the game and many many more! (Details on how to unlock those in the readme)

>Better Tower Interiors that match better the outside (no more straight corners, everything is round)

>High-Wave Radio that can tune all radio stations. Be advised that you need energy and to turn on the antenna at the top of the tower for it to work.

>Water Purificator (only cleans one Dirty Water at a time for realism purposes). Be advised it sucks the power out of the generator and it takes ~1min to finish its purification process. You also have to fix it first.

>Fitting background story and lore-friendly, explaining the tower and the previous owner.

>Lock Mechanism so you can leave your home without worries (also sleep inside it without worrying about Benny or Mr. Cuddles coming to you whispering "just let it happen")

>Wearable Dufflebag that can act as a container if you drop it or as a backpack increasing your weight capacity (but reducing a little AP points)

>Useless Wonder Meat Maker. Really. I only added it because that was some room in the shelf.

>Shower so you can take your baths naked in the mojave desert (yeah I'm just going to pretend you don't do that with your female character) You can also Cut your hair in the mirror nearby.

>Foldable and Unfoldable Bedroll. To fold the Bedroll back just activate it in while sneaking.

>Labeled Ammo Boxes.

>Scripted Idles, you can do Push-ups in the tower floor and dance near the radio! Fully working I swear!

>Coffe Maker that allows you to take three cups of black coffe and then you have to recharge it.(This one is my favorite and it only took one week to find out what was wrong with the script). Oh and it also produces sounds and smoke while the coffe is in it! I even added a vent so you can see the smoke going out of the tower!

>Incinerator that can turn all your junk into scrap metal. Takes some flamer fuel and some time but its nice to watch things burn...

>Infirmary suited for Hardcore and Normal players that instead of being a all-around cheat it takes a realistic aproach when healing your wounds. You need stimpaks (and Cruthes, Medical Braces depending on your broken limb) to be healed and it is according to your medicine skill.

>Super BenchYes you read it right! A unique bench that allows you to acess the reloading bench and workbench menus.

And the stuff that goes without saying like Safe Containers, Mailbox, Map Marker, North Marker, COC Marker, Audio Marker, Traps, companion navmesh compatibility, Lincoln action figure, scripted random player death to cause some chaos, etc...

>>How get to the Water Tower:

You will need to acess the extremely well hidden (watch out for my trap) Mailbox to get the key. If you want to acess the tower terminals you will need a Shovel so you can desecrate a grave in the Goodsprings Cemetery to get the terminal password.

Scripting Details - Don't need to read this - for people that understand GECK scripting
I took almost two weeks to make a working generator script. The main problems is that its not simple as just creating a variable and then reducing it by some number every time the quest script runs and then turning off the lights when it reaches 0. I saw that if I wanted to make the generator toggle between ON and OFF state and still save the leftover power I had to use a game timer (using GameDaysPassed function), but then I saw that even if you take the difference of 0.01 days passed (which is like 15 game world minutes) the player could just switch the generator and the switch it back in a few seconds before the script kicks in. The solution I found was to use a real timer to reduce the generator power by real seconds playing and a game timer so if you waited for 24 hours or went on a trip and left the generator on it would be off when you got back. This was a shitload of work and I hope it works well. I extensively tested it and debugged it and even attached the power variables to many activators in the house. The real pain in the ass was attaching a game time timer in the water inside the tower, it had to drop a lot if the player waited for some hours and that doesn't happen if you use a real world timer (GetSecondsPassed) it still works as intended. But really, the coffe maker smoke coming out in from the tower vent in the outside by using an enable parent was waaay more rewarding...

>>Installation:
1-Install the .esp file inside your New Vegas data folder and the meshes and textures folder.
2-Activate it using your favorite mod manager tool or vanilla launcher.
3-Go nuts with your new favorite home!

>>Unninstallation
1-Remove your things from every container inside the tower, exit it to a better cell (DO NOT remain at the top level, go to the Prospector Saloon or something.
2-Remove the .esp file from your New Vegas data folder and the folders labeled "WTResources" from the meshes and textures folders.

>>Compatibility and Requirements:
This mod does not need NVSE but v2.0 needs Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road and Gun Runners Aresenal DLCs to work. It is compatible with practically everything except maybe with mods that may alter the Goodsprings Cemetery.

>>CREDITS:
So this is it, please if you like the mod endorse it! It keeps authors alive (modifiers in my case that only uses other people work hahaha) at the New Vegas nexus. DO NOT forget to endorse FIRST the original mods linked below, I had to go asking many members for permission and they deserve credit for their work. Without it the mod would not be any good. Please give me your feedback on any bugs that you may find, I've been modifying this house over a year but only now I felt it was good enough to release it.
