About this mod
This is a 9mm hand gun of my own creation that is a replica of my own, home defence handgun, the most reliable weapon I\'ve ever owned.

Optional Update: There is a second file now in downloads that is OPTIONAL. It just has the volume turned down on the gunfire. IMPORTANT. You will still need the main zip file, as the softersound Taurs does not include the meshes, sound files, or textures. If you are going to use the softsound, download and install the main file. Then extract the softsound esp to your Data folder and save OVER the one that was installed from the main zip file.
UPDATE 2: Thanks to the help of Kaya47, I was able to get these sights dead on in game. It looks awsome and I'm excited that I know how to fix that problem now! LOL
UPDATE 1: I lined up the sights better. Due to the fact that the gun that I used as my base has a higher aim than this one, it still shoots a bit high. There is no way that I know of to fix this without making the gun sit too high in the character hand. To help reduce this issue, I widened the field of view when aiming.

I worked REALLY hard on this item, so I hope you find it enjoyable.
This mod adds three versions of my own personal home defence weapon, the PT 92 AF Taurus 9mm hand gun. I really didn't make this weapon as much for others to use as I made it for myself. I will not be doing any additional modifications to this package except correcting
issues with it, but I will welcome any mods that someone asks my permision to create.
-This is my own creation. The mesh and texture were created by me and do not use any other material. You do not have my permision to use this mesh or texture unless you
have contacted me and asked my permission to use them.
-Custom sounds were used for the gun fire. These were aquired from FreeSound.com

If you experience any difficulties using this mod, please contact me so that I can correct any issues with it.
To Install:
1. unzip to the fallout new vegas directory (NOT the data directory)
2. Overwrite any files that you are asked if you want to overwrite them.
3. Use FOMM to load the file into the game.
Location:
You will find a drop box in GoodSprings outside of the General Store on the side of the building. I only had one dealer sell this weapon. You will find him in the genral store in Good Springs.
