And how right she was.

This bad boy is called 'Blackheart'. Formed through the idea of a .44 magnum version of my gun 'Blackwood', a user named Hamsteaks came up with the title and concept. The story for this gun goes as follows:

In the year of 1890, this gun was forged by the vengeful child of a bounty hunter, who lost their father in a shootout with the Sheriff of a town near the ranch they lived on. In a decision that would cost them everything, the boy sold his soul to the Devil, in return, this gun was blessed with unholy power. In a form of contract, the boy wrote a demonic prayer to receive this. Retribution was brought upon the sheriff, in a bloody blaze of glory, but the boy lost everything. For the rest of his days, he was forced to gather souls for the dark one. On his deathbed, he ordered that his .357 be sealed away in his crypt, so that none may be subjected to the evil again.

In the year 2250, a man by the name of William Barton was burned alive, brutally tortured, and thrust into slavery by Joshua Graham, acting Legate of Caesar's Legion. Eventually escaping, he sought to kill Graham, obviously. At the same time, the .357 disappeared. Bill found it on a rock, surrounded by charred corpses, alongside a holotape covered in ash (which he would later place his suicide note on). A voice, deep, ancient, and sexless, spoken to him then, promising vengeance, in exchange for eternal servitude. He agreed, coldly, and taken the gun, the fine line between sanity and insanity now totally erased. In the year 2278, he finally met Graham. Now a changed man, Graham solemnly accepted his fate, but retribution never came. William walked away, realizing the man had payed enough, and decided to end his own life, as, in his state of mind, he killed hundreds of people, innocent and guilty. He hid in the remains of the El Ray motel, just outside the NCR outpost of McCarran, wrote his last words, and killed himself, with the .357 which had served him. Soon, it will be your turn to find it, in the same room it has stayed in for (approximately) 5 years, surrounded by Bark Scorpions, and as cold and rusty as it always has been. It'll still fire like a charm, and for good reason, too.

Now, my readers, you may wonder, 'What about that prayer mentioned earlier?', well, it is on Barton's suicide note, at the very bottom. It is REALLY cheesy, by the way. As in 'Teenaged Black metal band covered in pimples and ANGST' cheesy.

In case you're too lazy, lack the time or motivation to read the above description, you can find the gun in the El Ray Motel, beside McCarran, in the motel room with several Bark Scorpions living in it. Also in this location, is a unique hat, based off Lucas Simm's hat from FO3, on the corpse next to the gun. It is darker, more detailed, with a custom Normal Map, and the name 'Dale' written on the side.

INSTALLATION

Place the files included in your Data folder, and check the .esp in the 'Data files' menu on the Launcher. Alternatively, add it as a FOMOD (should already be compatible) in FOMM, and activate it.

Don't install both versions. It you want to change between the two, overwrite the textures.
