It is very important to disable CASM, load your game, save your game, then update and re-enable CASM. Your settings will *not* be retained until your next load.
This will eliminate bloat in your co save, making loading/saving saves faster.
I recommend do not download this mod at all. Found a crazy bug connected to this mod. And the game is almost nonplayable because of that. I had only like one autosave allowed in this mod but it was buggin anyway. - When I entered certain interiors and it autosaved - then all enemies inside that interior were teleporting close to me and also they were invisible. I spent many hours debugging this and turned off all my mods. Found out it is really this one and it is connected. Similar issues are described here too with the autosaves: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_NV_Mod_Conflict_Troubleshooting
Btw, this mod is obsolete if you have StewieAl's Tweaks. Autosaved can be set there. But after experiences I had I would not use any autosaves at all.
Even without mods installed, you should always refrain from using autosaves in F3 and FNV. They're not fully-fledged save files, and tend to lead to corruption.
If I remember correctly though you can instruct CASM to only create full saves, which would completely remedy the problem described in this comment.
this mod is great, but it has been giving me the lutana nvse plugin -1 error and the update JIP NVSE error, and no matter how many times i update it, it still won't work, any idea how to fix this? EDIT: I would also like to add that I am using NVSE version 5.1b4, because Fallout Who Vegas, but that didn't stop me from using CASM before, so it can't be that
This mod is very useful but alas, I think it's incompatible with the latest NVSE version. I was experiencing some insane collision issues in Black Mountain, with the character bouncing on the ground, which all went away when the mod was removed. Shame because the utility it provided was amazing, but those issues were definitely game breaking
CASM doesnt seem to take the MCM settings into account at all. I also get constant messages about it saving, which is really annoying... Yes it is set to off but as I said, it doesnt seem to really do anything I tell it to. Using the 1.9Beta.
EDIT: Also tried downgrading to 1.8 but no dice. I actually removed CASM and weirdly enough my game has higher FPS and stutters less... I dont get it. Guess I am not using it anymore. I use Better Saves as replacement now. Works fine.
That's what I as getting. No matter how many times I set things in MCM CASM seemed to ignore them. I really do not want to save on everything it list... heck how can anyone play a game with it saving every time you put a weapon away, bought something, slept, cooked, waited, enter or exited a door?
Edit: The save manager is also included in his tweaks plugin so get that instead. So far it has worked flawlessly, though it needs to be configured through the .ini, and you have to google the keybind number codes if you want to rebind the key shorcuts.
Yeah same here, I ended up uninstalling and switching to the simple saves nvse plugin by "lStewieAl" haven't tested it yet tho.
In my experience autosaves stop working all together once I started using the save function of IStewieAl's Tweaks even with the function turned off in the ini. So yeah only manual saves for me :(
I was experiencing weird issues with CASM as well, it would save at seemingly random intervals and the game would sometimes crash upon loading a save. I can confirm switching to lStewieAl's Tweaks save manager fixed this issue. For anyone reading this looking for support, make sure to disable/uninstall CASM, load a save and save again (removes missing esp warning). Set 'bImprovedAutoSave' to 1 on StewieTweaks INI and configure the save manager from the [Save Manager] section in the same file. Then, load up the save which you removed CASM from and resume playing as normal.

Superseded by Stewie Tweaks
I don't think i have touched the settings.
