About this mod

No more rare and expensive guns for the White Legs.

Permissions and credits
This is a small, simple mod that alters the leveled lists of the White Leg tribals in the Honest Hearts DLC to prevent high level White Legs from spawning with several rare or advanced guns that really don't fit them. Specifically:

12.7mm Pistol
12.7mm Submachine Gun
Hunting Revolver
Brush Gun
Riot Shotgun
Anti-Materiel Rifle

Why make this change? Because: Economics, aesthetics, and backstory.

Economics: I was about level 30 when I played Honest Hearts for the first time, and I was surprised to find the White Legs using so many advanced guns that I only rarely come across in the Mojave. During my time in Zion, I recovered countless 12.7mm SMGs, several Riot Shotguns and Brush Guns, and no fewer than four Anti-Materiel Rifles. The AMR, especially, is such a rare weapon in the Mojave that -- short of killing high-level NCR Rangers -- the only way to get one is to buy it at great expense. Yet I come to Zion and find tribals carrying them as if they're standard issue. You could make a fortune from the White Legs' weapons alone.

Aesthetics: It makes no sense that this band of raiding tribals has access to such advanced weaponry, it looks wrong, and it's wildly inconsistent with the melee-based White Legs, who use much more appropriate improvised weapons like the Mantis Gauntlet, Shishkebab and Tomahawk, even at high levels.

Backstory: Joshua Graham explains to the player that each tribe has its signature weapon. The Dead Horses have their unique club, the Sorrows - Yao Guai Gauntlets, and the White Legs? The .45 Auto Submachine Guns (or "Storm Drums") that they looted from a Pre-War armory. This bit of backstory explains where they got all their guns from. But are we supposed to believe that state-of-the-art equipment like 12.7mm SMGs and Anti-Materiel Rifles were stored in large quantities in the same dusty old armory with all those surplus, WW2-era submachine guns? It doesn't fit.

What annoys me most is that at higher levels, all of these guns end up replacing the .45 Auto Submachine Gun, which is new to the DLC and is supposed to be the White Legs' iconic weapon. That gun should be center stage, yet I only saw one or two of those among the sea of more advanced guns.

This isn't a cheat mod, because despite their high-level Guns, I feel I still had more trouble with the melee-based White Legs overall, probably due to their use of poisons. Even with this change the White Legs still use quite powerful guns (like the Hunting Shotgun and Trail Carbine) and the .45 Auto SMG is a powerful gun in its own right.
