All this does is change the colour of the title on the left hand side, not any of the menus. However, you could possibly combine this mod with another, actually meant for TTW, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/69053 which changes the menus green. It has a download option to not include the FO3 title bit, so that'd be the one you'd want. I've only used it for TTW but it'd be worth a try for pure NV too.

Read the instructions. The dds file is for the main title; the rest is a tutorial.

Does this also change the Pause menu?

To get this working with DarnUI, I replaced every instance of "&mainmenu;" in start_menu.xml with "&hudmain;"
    Worked perfectly.

Also, the numerous title screen textures I found is unnecessary.
All you need is the white one and the game will recolor it for you if you change the right entry in the XML.
For that, do a search for "main_title.dds" and then above that, look for "<systemcolor> &nosystemcolor; </systemcolor>"
Change the "&nosystemcolor;" to "&hudmain;" and you're good to go!

If you want that to work with TTW, you're going to have to extract the main_title.dds file from TTW's Texture BSA, and then turn it white.
You're on your own for that.

You've got to do the same thing to some of the MCM menus, or there will be at least one orange header littering your pause menu. ;-)

I see what you mean about the MCM menu thing and that is really annoying for me. Where do I make the same changed for the MCM menue?

No one has responded to a single comment I've left on anything yet, but I figure I'd let you know; it seems the file for 1.3 is damaged. When I try to open in with WinRAR it claims it can't open the file as it's 'either in an unknown format or damaged'. Please fix this, as I'd really like to use this.

Nevermind, was just my internet/computer/the Nexus' download servers shitting out on me for no reason. Fiddled with some stuff and am preparing to begin installation.

    Works like a charm, thanks!

@TikanX: You can edit loading screen text in the GECK. Just locate 'StandardLoadingTip' from the FalloutNV.esm and change the RGB values to wichever color you want them to be.

@Krux1015: If you've read the tutorial that came with this mod, you'd know those files are contained within the 'Fallout - Misc.bsa' =/

You shouldn't remove the old versions, in the 1.3 one you added only the main menu title..

also, are there additional steps to take using Darnified? not all text changed color for me, but i'm also using TTW.. not sure where the issue lies.

The loading screen color does not change. From your readme: "1. navigate to your fallout new vegas/data/menusdirectory then open "loading_menu.xml" "

I don't have loading_menu.xml in that folder. Any ideas?

For some reason, it won't let me load my savegames after following the instructions (after "uninstalling" them, everything works again). I think this may be due to FONV trying to load both the .bsa and the menus\options folder, but seeing as I have no experience in creating mods and whatnot this is pure speculation.

I also have a suggestion reguarding the readme.

For a while, I was sitting around trying to figure out how to extract individual .xml's from a bsa, until I decided to google such a thing. (I had never needed to open a .bsa before.)

So after the part of the readme that says for you to extract the Start_menu.xml, I'd recommend that you add in a link to a file able to open .bsa's, such as http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/3117 (the one I found and used).
