Ever have the problem that even though you killed all the Powder Gangers in Goodspring\'s defence during Ghost Town Gunfight, the quest won\'t update and complete? This will fix that and allow you to continue. Thanks to Shantih for the fix.

Having had to deal with not being able to continue on past the above named side quest due to a vanilla bug was frustrating; especially so early on in the game. I used the fix on the wikia each time it was encountered, and was able to go through and carry on (I did it similarly for my mate who also plays).
However, interestingly enough it was pointed out to me that by resolving the issue that way the achievement updates on Steam cease. I know that that is a minor issue, but something that could be done more seamlessly.
Well, Shantih had already worked out a way, by only requiring Cobb to be killed to fulfill the conditions of the resolving of the side quest. I tested it out in numerous instances of the beginning of the game, and voila, it has worked every time.
Installation:
1. Download and extract ghosttowngunfight fix.esp to your Data folder.
2. Select the file in FOMM or whichever launcher you use.
3. Play.
4. Enjoy not having to go into the console another time you shouldn't have had to. :D
Uninstallation:
1. Uncheck and delete ghosttowngunfight fix.esp from your Manager/Launcher.
2. Carry on.
