Still trying to figure things out, I found DIMONIZED TYPE3 female body by dimon99 http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/4280/? Where Dimon99's "zOPTION FACE texturesf for V2" facial texture used to be.
B.t.w. NMM and MO refuse to install FO3 mods into NV. I'm sure NMM did in 2014 as back then i also installed Lings Coiffure Hair, Eyelashes Fallout 3 by throttlekitty and other such FO3 mods into FO NV.
Well, Some practice with MO now should give me the option to bundle & repackage them for NV if i understood correctly.
I just can't get it to work. I've installed hundreds of mods in my day, from oblivon, to fallout 3, to skyrim, to this, so I'd assume I know what I'm doing. But it doesn't work. I dl'd the textures like said, then dl'd the file here, activated custom race esp's, everything seems fine, but I don't get the races. It's not like its glitching. It's like I never installed it to begin with. It just acts like I didn't even Install the mod. I have tried resetting archive invalidation and some other things, it just doesn't work. help, vanilla faces look like guys.
*update* It seems it's not just this mod, none of my mods are working, they show up in my nmm and I can even check the box next to them, but they don't do anything in game. I have a type 3 armor and clothing replacer with body and I get none of it, same, like I never installed it, how do I fix?
Really elvinkun? I must have changed races midgame hundreds of times in oblivion and many times in FNV, I've never had any real problems besides resetted states here or there.
Very nice. Lot better than the vanilla, but not such a makeup overkill as many others. Just recommend using the actuall body textures from the Dimon's body you can find here, they are better quality.
Also, changing race midgame is and always has been very unpredictable in with Beth's engine. It can do almost nothing, or it can completly screw up your character. Meaning you'd have to recreate it via console, but some things like implants might get perma-corrupted.
Yep, that's the way I've understood it as well. And to be frank, I never liked the idea of messing with character stats via console.....many have said that it does and will cause problems with the character build eventually.... and the game is buggy enough as it is.
Oh well, not a problem. As I said, this will be used on my next play thorugh.... gotta love Dimonized Race
From what I've experienced, using the showracemenu to change races can definitely break some perks. If you use it to change races, then use the console to remove all your perks (should probably write them down first) then use the console to add them again. That worked for restoring all of mine to working order after switching races.
