Adds a player home to Freeside, a two-story "prospector's" house constructed of scrap metal, reminiscent of Megaton style housing, located not far from the Mojave Express box. Version 1.1 is just minor changes, mainly artwork.

Features: Three new recipes and crafting stations, a pet dog (not a companion), new artwork, ample storage, fresh water, working lights, well-rested bed, magic 8 ball, haircut razor, map marker for fast travel, nav meshed interior. Does not include swimming pools, armed guards, or other deluxe penthouse type features. Does not replace any existing game files.

Access: Talk to the dog Reno. He wanders around nearby (he's small and gray and might take a moment to spot).

Requirements: Fallout: New Vegas, patched to the latest version. No other DLC or mod is needed.

Installation: Extract the files to your game's Data folder, preserving the folder structure. Click Yes when prompted to overwrite files (it's just adding to the Meshes and Textures folders, not actually overwriting existing files).

Removal: Before uninstalling, be sure that you are not under the effect of any of the craftable consumables that this mod adds when you save your game, then just delete the files that the mod adds.

This is just a house mod. The dog is merely present for atmosphere. He's not a companion. He will follow you inside the house and leave when you do, but he stays near the house. You can tell him to stay inside, stay outside, or go away forever. Because he's small, he will have trouble with curbs and he’s limited to downstairs, but he doesn't mind. Numerous items inside, such as books and skill magazines, are for decoration only, so you can't pick them up. The new consumables are intended to be useful enough to be worth making, but not overpowered, which of course is subjective. They are food items, so they scale with your Survival skill as other food items do.

I take a minimalist approach to house mods. I do not use sorters. However you can easily add sorting to this or any other house mod with Mobile Auto-Sorter by Glenstorm (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/43412).
