And a rusty pin and a block of wood? Hah! Ruddy modern techno-whatsits, that's what they are. We had to make the holes with our teeth.
Then there was the 40-mile barefoot walk to the com-pute-ah, in the freezing snow, fog so thick you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, being savaged by wild wolves and robbed by highwaymen, avoiding patrolling Roman guards, and hiding from packs of hungry velociraptors.
Just to find out that the bloody punch rocks were out of order. ">
Hah! When I were a lad our REEL editors were a rusty pin and a block of wood. Then you'd have to make sure that the punchtape didn't get wet on the 3 mile hike uphill (both ways) on t' way t' Mill.
But you try telling the kids of today that and they won't believe you!
