A new version of my Enhanced Night Sky mod ported from Fallout 3, now tailored for the deserts of New Vegas! Also fixes a few minor flaws, and adjusts the saturation for a more realistic balance. Enjoy realistic starry skies in the Mojave night!

!!! NOTE: I'VE UPDATED THIS MOD WITH A NEW VERSION CALLED MOJAVE NIGHTS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONTINUING WITH THIS VERSION INSTEAD!
It's been a long time since I released an update for this mod (originally for Fallout 3) but I always wanted to fix some of the things I felt could be better (a few of the stars were a little big) and with the plethora of new graphical mods for New Vegas I found that my old texture was far too colorful and oversaturated in comparison to the other visuals. So this release fixes both those issues, reducing saturation by about half, specifically calibrated for use with Nevada Skies and/or URWL (I personally use the Custom Lighting Overlay on top of those two) though it also works even without them.
There are so many contrast/color combinations possible with these and other mods, I might release further variations in saturation levels if I receive feedback requesting it. For now, enjoy the version 0.2 release that's been so long coming!
By the way, this mod still goes very well with krzymar's Hi-Res Moon mod from Fallout 3, works just as great in New Vegas.
== DESCRIPTION ==
This mod is a high-resolution replacement for the default night sky. Taken from real-life starfield photography, it's been carefully crafted to enhance your night-time viewing experience. (Note: the stars do not correspond to their accurate celestial positions - such is beyond my means to produce.)
Enjoy your nights of stargazing!
== INSTALLATION ==
1. Unzip the "textures" folder from the archive into your New Vegas\Data folder.
2. As with all texture replacement mods, enable ArchiveInvalidation if you haven't yet. The easiest way to do this is to install the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM, http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901) and apply it in the Tools menu.
== UNINSTALLATION ==
Remove the file "skystars.dds" from your textures\sky folder.
== VERSION HISTORY ==
0.1 Initial release 0.1b Fixed archiving error 0.2 Modified texture with less saturation and minor fixes.
== ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS ==
Many thanks to Wei-Hao Wang for the starfield imagery!
