Short Description:
Modders Resource: textures for a Vault Gear Door, and a standard sliding door with the number 21 on it.

Long Description:
As per request by Sniperdude300, Vault door textures :)
these are fair quality, not totally perfect, but my photoshop skills aren't that good. they pass muster from any distance you're likely to look at them from.

to use them (since this is a modders resource, not a mod) you'd need to either merge the ESP provided with your own mod, or recreate the content of the esp in your own.
I leave that as an exercise for the modder, but rest assured its an easy process.

the gear door texture is intended for the geardoor01 Activator. just copy that Activator and rename, then retexture the front with the provided texture. you'll need to make a new texture-set for that. please note that the normal-map is not provided, the existing one is standard for all gear doors. you'll need to extract it out yourself since its legally dubious for me to provide it.
The specific part of the model that needs retexturing is called VGearDoor01b:4
The Normal map can be found here: dungeons\Vault\vgeardoor03_n.dds

the sliding door texture doesn't need a normal map for whatever reason. I have no idea why. but the ones ingame don't use them, so mine doesn't either. if you have a normal map and want to use it anyway, you're the modder, this is just the resource.
I used a very specific door as a model for this, you'll have to use the same or the textures won't line up.
you need the Vault 22 door.
I used the vault 3 door texture for the rest of the parts. you'll also need at least one other texture set, the trim01 cleaned vault texture sheet. (if you're extracting it for yourself, its in Textures/dungeon/vault/)

I created my ESP initially using my own Cleaned vault set. which includes all the various textures as texture-sets. I recommend that method to anyone using this file.

Installation:
Same as any other mod, copy the Data folder provided into your Fallout new vegas main directory
don't bother ticking the tickbox, you'll not want it in your game anyway.
open it in the geck to examine what I've done with it :P

to reiterate, I strongly recommend using my Clean Vault Tileset pack with this, it has the texture-sets you need ready-setup.

Usage:
This file is provided for anyone to use in any way shape or form. I only ask that you don't claim the texture files as your own work and you give me credit in any mods you release that contain those two files.
Ideally, contact me and provide me with a link to any mods you release, so I can keep track of my work, but I don't mind if you choose not to.
