Eight year old comment but yeah, that's literally the only thing that makes them a threat is how fast they are and since they move with, I don't know WINGS. But nope, A bug that's meant to give the player a challenge and s*** like that causes people to freak out and write a entire essay long rant online about it.
But if you have a fear against bugs like cazadores these then yeah, I can see this helping you out playing this fantastic game.
that works sure, but the thing is most of the times those shits fly in swarms, unless you are using a VATS build or have nice aim the rest of them are going to get you and their venom stacks, you can always cripple their antenas and make them kill each other, that's how i cleared the cave where the legendary one resides.
Maybe because Cazadores are not fun to fight against unlike the other hard enemies in the game. Their animations are also crap, why does a Cazadore with crippled wings start to suddenly fly when attacking something and then dropping back to the crippled walk animation? Crap. Maybe if Cazadores had better animations and were more strong looking then I would consider keeping them, I would want to replace them with more Death Claws if I could. They feel absolutely fake
thank god for this mod. im horrified of bugs and i have to use the phobia mods for fallout 4 when i play so i dont get creeped out by the mirelurks and bugs. thank you again for this. THANK YOU!
THANK YOU SO MUCH CUZ AS I WALK MY MODDED SUPER MUTANT A## OVER TO JACOBSTOWN SCARY BIG BUGS JUST SAY NOPE BACK ON OVER TO DOC YOU GO,so thank you very much
As someone who suffers severely from spheksophobia, you have no idea how much this means to me. This mod will drastically increase my ability to play the game worry-free and fear-free. I've gone as far as to share it with others I know who have the same phobia I do. Genuinely, thank you so very much.
Thank goodness for this mod. Deathclaws being scary is fine, if you're reasonably alert it's okay, and they kill you fast if you screw up. Cazadores are jump scare incarnate: giant wasp with a stinger the size of a sword, angry orange wings and hateful eyes, and they fly in swarms while detecting you from miles away while being exceedingly hard to hit due to erratic flight. And if you turn away from a swarm half a mile away during a Cautious state, to watch your back the swarm will be stinging you in a half a second. The venom is dangerous but can be negated by the Heartless perk from OWB, and if you murder enough Legion for antivenom or craft enough Fiery Purgative or Datura Antivenom they aren't too awful. But still, dangerous, and prone to seriously startling me constantly. (Granted, I'm the sort of person who's had their heart momentarily stop because of EDE randomly beeping or opening a commissary in the divide during dead silence, so maybe i'm overblowing it..)
Combine that with a severe fear of bees/wasps/hornets since childhood, and Cazadors tend to make certain areas of the map places I will not touch until I am hideously overleveled solely so I can just spam explosives to deal with them. It was nice to see them in a confined building in OWB solely so I could torch the bastards with a flamer. Now I can just delete them from the game and play in peace. I play this game to avoid my anxiety and depression, not to raise my blood pressure.
Any suggestions on getting cazador poison glands for making stuff though?
i haven't downloaded the mod yet, but i would like to know how well it works. i have not purchased the dlcs yet, and i won't if this mod doesn't pretty much completely and entirely remove the cazadores from the game. if someone who *has* played with this mod could provide me with some detail as to whether or not it removes them from certain places that would be much appreciated :)
I have had this installed a long time and I have yet to see a cazador anywhere and I play all dlcs. Not even in that mine where the queen one resided. It took guts to go back in there for that enclave mask but I just had to know if they were gone.
