This mod adds a new Designated Marksman Rifle to Fallout New Vegas.

7.62x51mm Designated Marksman Rifle - By PickinTheBanjo
This is a mesh edit of the existing 5.56x45mm Marksman Carbine with a longer action/magazine as well as a longer barrel/fore stock. The Marksman Rifle
is chambered in .308 and has increased damage to that of the Marksman carbine due to the larger cartridge and the longer barrel. The rifle
is moddable with a Sniper Rifle Suppressor, 10mm Laser Sight and the Varmint Rifle Night Scope (Night scope uses the Marksman Carbine scope model) The Marksman Rifle was built as an improvement to the existing Marksman Carbine.
Install the mod by copying the data folder contained in the .rar into your fallout new vegas folder, accept the merge with your existing data folder,
then enable with FOMM.
The Marksman Rifle is available for purchase at most vendors except for The GunRunners.
This does not replace the existing Marksman Carbine it simply adds a new rifle based off of it.
This mod makes use of your existing marksman carbine textures meaning it may cause issues with any retexture mod for the Marksman Carbine.
- If you are using Millenia's re-tex of the Marksman Carbine then download the optional patch which supports his new maps and textures.
