In case anyone is still wondering in _____(insert your current year)____, the RAD800 effect has no solution to date (tried various methods like many of you, and none worked - happy to be proven wrong though!). Love this mod despite the frame rate drop and the no going back from the RAD800.

To only option you have is to go back to a previous save before you were affected. It sucks but I hope you save your games frequently.

Why doesn't it have a solution? It is now 2022 and i have solved the problem.
You need to enter the command "player.removespell xx04b03d", where xx is the mod index.

I have a really big problem with the radiation rain BUG. I was just starting the Honest Hearts quest, and had just finished battling the White Legs that kill your entire crew. After the battle I heard that the radiation rain sound was going on for a while now, and all of a sudden it stopped. I could not find any shelters in the middle of the battle so I got the radiation poisoning. I had quicksaved and my last save was just after Honest Hearts started so I couldn't go back. I entered shelters, I tried using Rad-X and Rad-Away and none of this have worked. I lost my game and I had like 48 hours of gameplay already.

Project reality ruined my gameplay experience and I couldn't find anyone on the internet that knows how to fix this issue. Please if the developer can help me I would be really grateful. I stopped playing Fallout 3 New Vegas for a while only because of that... I'm really sad now that I lost my save... but I need the problem solved. Please.

Just FYI - you're asking about a post that's almost two years old.

Well, guys, for anyone who wonder, ghostpowerelder's method is working. As they said, just go 3rd person, open console, click on your char and type "resurrect".
