Since March 7 a little update, I think all issues got fixed. I somehow managed to fix my geck btw, probably going to take a look into Cass again after playing Bioshock Infinite. Cya Until then. Have fun gaming.
I really like your work, but there are a few bugs left... I'm using the non-lings version. The hair texture is missing or the path is incorrect. Her hair is purple. In some cells her eyes turn black. I was able to fix it with Hi-Res Eyes Replacer mod. Also, for some reason her wrists are missing, they're invisible. There is nothing between her gloves and sleeves.
Still, she looks better than vanilla, but I really hope you could come back to this mod and polish it a bit further.
edit: I tried the textures from the older version and they work. The hair is no longer purple (I extracted the textures from older bsa and used them instead).
Judging by the mod images, it looks like you are using ENB or some type of texture mod that is separate to this. The face is not as smooth looking on my standard version, neither is the hair. You have Lings hair & standard version shown. The standard version, doesn't look as good in my game. Perhaps you should specify in the description if people require other mod enhancers, so they match the images you have uploaded.
Bug report: For people who have downloaded the Non-Lings version and are suffering from the bug where Cass' eyes are missing, the eye texture file seems to have a wrong DDS format. Extracting the eye texture from the BSA and saving it as DXT1 fixed the issue for me. Either midtek could provide a patched version of the BSA or you could simply grab this patch that I just cooked up:

OMG thank you sooo much, this fixed my problem with 2 improved companions! Cass and Veronica both were missing eyes, now fixed and beautiful! And this MUST be in optional files as fix, without it i would be screwed.
How do I fix the purple hair and purple eyes issue? Just try to reinstall again? Doesn't seem to work. This is with non-lings version.
Edit: Also tried the ling's version using his coiffures and while the texture issue with the hair is now gone using that method, her eye textures are either dark brown or just missing and showing to the back of her head.
Edit 2: The black eye bug is due to the texture "soulfuleyeblue.dds" just being pure black. I did a quick, dirty fix by taking an already existing eye texture, copying it, moving the old texture file out of the folder (move it to a new place not in the falloutnv data folder) and then changing the name of the eye texture copy to "soulfuleyeblue.dds".

i installed both the Lings and the non-lings to try them and niether worked Cass looks the same and her hair hasnt changed the only cass mod i use is a re-texture of her base game outfit so need help to make this work. using megaton hairs lets me have cass's hair from the screen shots on my character so it dose "work" in game but dosnt show on cass

Does that mean you selected the folders from the Lings version of the zip and put it into the Non Lings version? I've tried installing the mod this way and I've tried pasting folder from the Lings version into the data directory but i still get purple textures for hair and eyes. What do?
Not sure if it's something from this but just a heads up: once I installed this mod, my game saves got corrupted. Models disappeared and were replaced with a giant red sign with an exclamation point. Not sure what exactly happened but it definitely happened after trying to get this to work. I tried ling's coiffure with the ling's version and got invisible bodies with pink floating heads. Went back and unchecked the option on Ling's and that solved the problem but i ran into weird textures on some signs then weapons becoming giant warning signs. uninstalled everything, went with the non-Ling version and loaded an old save but ran into the same problem. Not sure what is causing this, or how I can fix it. I'll try uninstalling the mod and see if I still have a corrupted save when loading from a pre-mod save.
Otherwise, I really like this one. Cass looks great!
Edit: I already had a better veronica and it seems like installing this mod or ling's made it work. I'm still getting messed up textures. I think it was because I tried to install ling's coiffure through vortex or maybe there's just some compatibility problem. I suppose i'll start from scratch again but this time with both better veronica and cass from the start and see how it does.
i got the same issue, and have better veronica as well. all my saves were corrupted after i loaded, but then they were fine after i quit.. did you ever figure it out

I used this mod but she seems to have umn two sets of 'chests' going on...any idea what could be doing that?

No more looking at Cass and thinking of Dr Weir's (Event Horizon) dead eyeless wife. It was getting... creepy.
