Skeletal Variation is a modders resource, containing an altered skeleton that can be used to modify NPC proportions on the fly- making them skinny, fat, making their feet disappear or whatever. By playing easy-to-set-up animations (full details on their creation included in the tutorial inside) you can independently alter the scale, position and rotation of most of the bones on the human skeleton.
Plus as a bonus, this skeleton fits Oblivion clothing without rerigging. It doesn't look *great*, but it gets the job done- allowing anyone who wants to port their favourite Oblivion mod armour to Fallout to do so by just updating the Nif version.
For examples of the kind of stuff you can do with this, take a gander at the Video tab, and the pages for the Oblivion and Fallout mods this was combined from:
Feel free to redistribute the animations and skeleton used in the mod, as long as I get a credit (lol ego).
PLEASE NOTE: Whilst this skeleton makes it possible to convert and use Bethesda-made Oblivion armours please remember they can't be redistributed. If you convert someone else's Oblivion armour and want to redistribute it, get permission first.
This seems a bit hectoring but just covering my bases here.
