Description
===========

Fixes the order of items in the Barter, Repair, and Repair Services menus.
THIS MOD REQUIRES NVSE!

Details
=======

Have you ever sold your fully repaired weapon when you meant to sell
the crummy one you just looted from a raider? Have you ever
accidentally repaired a low-quality weapon with an expensive, modded
unique? Have you ever wanted to scream at the vendor repair list when
trying to find one item out of dozens? Then this mod is for you.
This mod is especially useful with the Jury Rig perk or increased
carry weight mods.

What this mod does:

Items in the barter menu are sorted alphabetically by name, then by
item condition. So the 100% hunting rifle will always be above the 5%
hunting rifle. No more random item shuffling. Modded items should
appear before un-modded items with the same name.

Items in the vendor repair menu are sorted alphabetically by name,
then by item condition. So you don't have to hunt through every
single line in a randomly ordered list.

Items in the Pip-boy repair menu are sorted by condition, then
alphabetically by name. So all the junky items are near the top, and
your precious, fully repaired items are safely near the bottom.

The first time you enter any of these menus, a brief message will
appear in the upper left-hand corner to let you know it's working.
The message will say "Sorting [Barter or whatever] Menu".

Install
=======

This mod REQUIRES the New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE). Get it at
http://nvse.silverlock.org/

Use the Fallout Mod Manager to install. Or install manually by
copying the .esp file to the game's Data subdirectory.

Uninstall
=========

Use the Fallout Mod Manager to uninstall. Or uninstall manually by
deleting the .esp file from the game's Data subdirectory.

Upgrade
=======

Use the Fallout Mod Manager to upgrade. Or upgrade manually by
replacing the old .esp file with the new one.

Incompatibility
===============

None found so far. It has been tested with the vanilla interface and
MTUI. Other interfaces should work as long as they don't modify the
Barter, Repair, and Repair Services Menus too much.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================

- The arrow keys and page up/page down don't work very well in the
menus. They will move the selection box to seemingly random items
in the list. What's happening is that they are moving through items
in the original order of the list.

Things I Wish I Could Fix But Can't
===================================

- The Container and Companion Inventory screens have the same problems
as the Barter menu, but I could not figure out any way fix them, due
to the way the menu is written.

- The Repair list should sort items so that cheap things like varmint
rifles appear before expensive things like anti-material rifles.
This was actually the original goal of this mod, but, again, I
couldn't make it work.

- The Repair Services menu has the aggravating habit of scrolling back
to the top of the list every time you repair something. I could not
fix this without breaking the scroll bar in strange ways.

- The Inventory menu still has the usual bugs: the + sign next to
modded weapons disappears, and items sometimes disappear if you have
other items of the same name in your inventory.
