Oookay, the time has come to release the new version with a long awaited, brand new feature: random damages, and random critical effects! What is this new feature? I took the critical effects system of the classic fallouts and implemented into this mod! Yes, now there is a chance to knockdown, knockout a target, or score a critical that instantly kills the victim.
Let's see this in details. So we got random damages now. This means the weapons got a minimum damage (the damage the weapon would normally do), plus a random 0-10 damage, so a weapon with 25 dmg now does 25-35 damage. And there are criticals of course, using the exact system of the classic fallouts. Scoring a critical on the leg have a chance of knocking the target down, scoring a critical to the head have a chance of knocking down, or knocking out the target for some time. In VATS, since it is the same as the aimed shots in classic fallouts you got a much bigger chance of scoring a critical. This chance is the critical chance plus 20%. Seems to be working okay, changes may be made though. The only thing that's not like in the classics is the limb crippling. limb healths are used as in vanilla, maybe i will change these though. Another thing we have old style text messages in the upper left corner about critical hit effects!
However there are some problems we have to live with. First we have to say goodbye to critical challenges, since criticals are working other way. The other thing is much more minor. When killing enemies with lasers or plasma, the disintegration, gooification sound is still played even if the target is not disintegrated, gooified. Of course i will try to find a fix for these problems, and share any ideas you have.

Description:
The classic Fallout feel is something we will never forget. It burned into our minds. It became love. This
mod tries to bring that feel back as much as possible. Of course the combat were turn based, and
much more complex, but since that combat system is impossible to implement, this mod tries to bring
New Vegas closer to the classics through tweaks. The old Fallouts were the most realistic CRPGs
combatwise in my opinion. Damage, especially critical hits were so high it could kill the toughest
enemies in one blow. The damage to enemies visually and through text messages made the game so
brutal, i pitied the poor unarmed slaves when i blinded them and beat them to death with a crowbar.
Well those people who played these games know what i'm talking about. And this mod is for those
people.
There are a lot of changes i made, so here is the complete list of changes:

- weapon damage is now 1.8x higher, close to double damage
- damage to head is now triple instead of double. This means humans usually die by a critical hit on the
head (a critical hit on the head is now means 6x damage)
- Health is much lesser now both for player and for npc, one point of endurance means around 4
points of health (plus base health)
- limb health has been reduced greatly for both player and npc. For npc usually one hit is enough to
cripple the limb, with reduced health, and with higher damage this is the only way limb crippling can be a
useful tactic
- damage to armor is reduced to fit to higher damages
- accuracy is greatly reduced, close to the classic Fallouts accuracy, still i tried to keep accuracy and
damage balanced, so someone with a gun don't have an advantage over someone with a melee
weapon.
- blood is tweaked a bit to be more gory
- weapon dismemberment and limb explosion changed, low calibre guns don't dismember or make
limbs explode, higher calibre weapons only make limb explosions, dismemberment is limited to weapons
that either cut like swords and machetes, or have high impact strength, like power fist, sledge hammer,
lasers don't dismember anymore, since they have a neat vaporize effect, but maybe this will be
changed later
- impulse strengts is now on 25%, for more realistic death effects
- trader prices are much higher, makes barter skill much more important, and the game is still interesting
over lvl 20 (around this lvl i usually had everything i need plus a lot of money i couldn't do anything
with), gambling and playing caravan is now useful besides beeing fun

If you find the game too challenging or too easy, the difficulty settings still work as intended. This is
the first release of a mod i want to tweak and change as other old fallout fanatics would like it to be
changed, so feel free to tell me your opinion, and your ideas.


New in 1.1:
- weapon damage is now set to 1.6x
- cowboy repeater damage decreased
- spiked knuckles damage decreased
- accuracy adjusted
- enemies use stimpaks now
- primary needs increase is now double

New in 1.2:
- damage reduced to 1.0x
- health reduced
- accuracy reduced further down
- vats accuracy adjusted
- player limb health increased
- action points halved

New in 1.21:
- vats accuracy changed back to default
- some random encounters, mostly raiders watching the roads
