For those of us who dislike ported mods, I have recreated the AK-47 (Chinese Assault Rifle) from FO3, and made it available for NV. Unlike the two ported mods available, this version of the weapon uses the correct sounds, art and reload animations. It has also been made to use all types of 5.56mm ammo. All stats and effects from the original FO3 version are the same for this weapon.

The weapon is located in Goodsprings. down the hill from the Doc's house, next to a stop sign on the left hand side of the road (see pic). There are 5 weapons in the footlocker, along with some ammo to get you started.

Install:
===============

1. Extract the Authentic FO3 Chinese Assault Rifle.esp file to Steam\Steamapps\Common Files\Fallout New Vegas\Data\ folder.

2. Start Fallout New Vegas Launcher, click Data File, or start the NVMM. Place a checkmark beside the Authentic FO3 Chinese Assault Rifle.esp file.

Un-Install:

1. Start Fallout New Vegas Launcher, click Data File, or start the NVMM. Uncheck the Authentic FO3 Chinese Assault Rifle.esp file.

2. Delete the Authentic FO3 Chinese Assault Rifle.esp file.
