The REAL Automatic Rifle - A sorely needed Dead Money Fix
A slight mod by Servalion. (Obviously requires the Dead Money DLC)

Goes GREAT with Arenovalis/Milenia's Retex

What with life consuming my time lately, I haven't had much opportunity to play the game or update my mods, a couple of which are probably partially obsolete. However, I still couldn't pass up a chance at Dead Money coming out. I'll play it at some point, I'm sure.

However, upon a first peek at the .esm file for the expansion, I highly disappoint'd at the botched stats behind my highly anticipated weaponry addition, the Automatic Rifle. It has a default spread of 6. SIX. With a minimum spread of 2.5. I've seen shotguns more accurate than this! (and I should know *wink*) Its a complete mockery of the title "Rifle". On top of that, it fires painfully slow. Its kinda like hauling around one of those Civil War-era hand-cranked gatling guns with 1-inch barrels. There's a reason the war didn't see those much in action.

So, I whipped up some changes to make this a bit more like what its supposed to be. I haven't tested it yet, but I haven't screwed with it too much, so it shouldn't be terribly OP.

The Automatic Rifle has been renamed to its RL counterpart, the M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR for short)
Its spread was drastically reduced to 1.5, with a minimum spread of 0.5
Durability was bumped up 50%.
Weight of 16 and damage of 40 remain intact.
Firing rate was increased from 6 to 8.
Its sole weapon mod now increases the firing rate by 2, up from 1.
The weapon mod has been renamed the BAR M1918A2 Conversion Kit to reflect the RPM of that later model.

Now, since I haven't actually played Dead Money yet, I can't say for sure that it works, but I did so little, its virtually guaranteed. And this should make the gun a whole lot more proper and useful. Go gun down some Ghosts.

Once again, you'll need the Dead Money DLC for this to do anything, otherwise all it'll do is crash your game, maybe. Also, since all this does is alter a single weapon, and since I'm pretty sure I'm the first to alter any Dead Money weaponry, the load order of the .esp is probably irrelevant until someone else releases something that alters the Automatic Rifle that you've just got to have. Be sure to keep that in mind.

I give permission for anyone to reuse this in any mod they wish to upload anywhere. Hell, I did so little, you don't even need to credit me (but feel free anyways).
