Just looked the damage values up in GECK: they're lower than usual. Simply change them back to original in GECK. (i.e Throwing Spear had something like 36, change it to 50)
I just noticed something, I picked up some normal spears from a legion soldier, and the stated damage output was much greater than the returning spears.
It appears that the damage is not increasing inline with my melee skill. Or is it just displaying incorrectly in the Pipboy?
you need at least 2 in your inventory, it will add one as soon as you throw it, so your just reloading instead of getting a new one, there is no weapon swap, just infinite ammo throwing daggers and spears, and hatchets. there is a bug however that i dont have a clue why, if you disarm in a conversation and they are equiped the game will crash, so any time you go into that laser store or ceasers camp gotta switch weapons when they take your stuff.

i played around with this idea when i was working with my mod startkits. i made a spear and set it as a quest item and that way it would return after using. i abanded the idea since i had to constantly swap weapons to bring up the new spear. did you use the same method or have you solved the problem with weapon swapping.
i'm not a texture/mesh person but if i find one and th auther says ok then I can add em to it, this was just a personal mod i went pure melee with a new char swords and throwing knives all the way, i had so much fun with the unlimited throwing knives i decided to post it.
