Why is it suddenly telling me i need project nevada? I don't like Project Nevada, but whenever i try to use with with Heffy's AR and AK pack, it tells me i need project Nevada
It works perfectly fine when first installed, but after a while it stops working in VATS or/and it messes with the per shot counts of automatic weapons in VATS. When I try to fire semi auto it shoots 5, in burst it shoots 10 and in full auto it shoots 15 etc. in VATS. I can not find any setting about this anywhere but it breaks my game bad.
Does anyone know if there is anyway to contact the Nexus site admin's and get them to fix the F'd up file names?
Back in the day, the two pieces (the main file and the NV update) were named correctly. But something came along and screwed that up, and now it has that super stupid silly name AND it treats the SF update as a new mod rather than a patch, and uninstalls the existing mod.
It's likely a Nexus glitch and Pelinor might not have known about it before now. I believe he's still active, but might not be monitoring. If you don't hear back in a week or so, maybe try POLITELY (that means avoid things like crying "wtf" from the getgo) sending him a PM and asking if he can sort it out.
well ive definately tried it and its only got half the problem that jip selective fire did with gamepad support if u map the cycle and menu keys using something like xpadder it will switch firing mods or rather the menu will show up and tell u that it is HOWEVER it doesnt force the gun to fire in that mode (ex: set an automatic weapon to single shot it still fires as if u never even changed the fire mode)the keys work thats a good start but it doenst recognize that ur changing the mode while the game is in 360 controller mode
If you had Project Nevada installed prior to installing this mod, then uninstalled PN then the game will crash upon trying to load. That's a definite cause of errors like that.

wtf is this? I want selective fire, not to make the UI fonts bigger :\
I use an Xbox 360 for Windows controller and would really like to find a fire rate selecting mod that I can get to work for me.
