Ohh man thanks a TON for that pointer. Changed the file paths, turned archiveinvalidation on and off, wondered why it still wasn't working... That was it, thank you
The pipboy texture itself is great however i am having problems with a white screen on my pipboy when i use archiveinvalidation. i assume it would be this mod as it directly effects the pipboy. furthermore i have done several Google searches and have found that i need to delete a dds line in the archiveinvalidation.txt, alas i have not found the correct line to delete.
I am having the same problem when viewing the pipboy outside in daylight (completely white) plus I have this error where the interface is completely ruined:
I have tried uninstalling your mod and it is not affecting the vanilla pip-boy, however I am using other mods but none related to the pip-boy.
*UPDATE* - fixed this by moving the pipboyarm01_n.dds file into the 'english' folder as it seemed to be missing. Why you have not structured the files in the download so it is there by default I do not know.
I had the same problem but required a different solution. Some mods worked and some didn't, the ones that did work had 2 extra files:
screen.dds screenglare.dds
I manually copied these 2 files (which are darkish tints) from a working mod (Parkerized Pip-Boy Blue) into the correct folders and all good on several of the pipboy mods that weren't working before. Archive Invalidation wasn't even necessary when switching the mods on and off in Nexus Mod Manager. The manually copied files stay there (possibly until a mod gets installed/uninstalled with them included, so make a backup somewhere of these two files if you have this issue : ) Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\ Data\textures\pipboy3000 and Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\ Data\textures\pipboy3000\pc but not in the \English one - not sure about any of this, but it's working for me now.
And there are probably other screen/screenglare tints that would change the look.
Hope this helps the few people that seem to have this issue.

For people using an XBOX 360 controller like me you can get it working by duplicating the folder "pc" and renaming the copy as "xbox".
