About this mod

Adds \"another\" shack - home mod in Goodsprings.

Permissions and credits
Version 2 out. Fully fixed (hopefully) and with a final touch. No containers were touched, so if anyone is actually using this mod on regular basis, you won't lose anything.

Additional credits are granted to Kaya47 for his Browning texture. Nice one. Thanks. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37557

FIX 2

The ranger dark hat was not reading its texture. Please replace the mesh with the one in the second fix. Many thanks to Johssy once again for pointing the error and especially for his patience with my mod :)

I think after I correct everything I will release an updated mod file.

UPDATED - FIXED

Many thanks to Johssy and JackTrenton for pointing the errors to me and once again: special thanks to danthegeek for studying my file and correcting it. I have also added 2 more lights inside the shack.

Installation: Please replace old esp with the new one.

General description:

It adds another player home shack in Goodsprings. I know… it’s not a very imaginative location and mod type, but it was fun and interesting to build it. I actually started this because I couldn’t find a suitable location to mount and watch that freaking TV (not included in this mod – find it here if you want it: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36895). It’s lore friendly, cluttered to my taste and has a short story to back it up.

Features:

1.Sort of a...small quest, meaning you won’t be able to access it on the first try. If you click on the front door you’ll be guided from there. You won’t however have to travel anywhere in order to find the key. Also, you won’t need to find the former owner’s corpse in order to access the shack, but I’ve added it on the bottom of Devil’s Gullet just for the consistency of the story (it seems he didn’t reach his desired destination…hehe).
2.Several activators: lights, lamps (one with a funny hat trick), cooking range, coffee maker, reloading and working benches, moonshine distillery.
3.A modified ranger grey hat that doesn’t clip from your head (I do hope it works fine, as in niffscope import was rotated 90 degrees).
4.A couple of weapons that I never use but I like to look at (they’re suicide in a reasonably big gun fight).
5.Some markers for your companions if you care to leave them on sandbox mode.
6.Bottle shooting range.
7.Map marker.

Notes on features:

1.The axe holder and hat stand will only accommodate those 2 unique items.
2.The activator for the hat trick lamp is the lamp itself and depending on your position it may be covered either by the hat or by the FX glow. If you don’t see the activation message just move a bit on the side.

Location:

In Goodsprings. See screenshots.

Conflicts:

The shack is new and doesn’t change anything existent in the main game. It’s compatible with Goodspring’s filler, Daguls’s home, Goodsprings Shack and Victor’s Shack mods.

Installation:

Copy/paste the contents in your Data folder following the given paths. Since this is my first mod I don’t have yet the working accuracy to generate a clean bsa file.

CREDITS AND THANKS:

For starters I’d like to thank and credit danthegeek for I have learned a ton of tricks by dissecting his mod in GECK (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37884).

To Highsight for his coffee making script and for the inspiration given to me by his Active Wasteland mod (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37804)

To The 3rd Type for the coffee icon (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34737)

To RideTheCatfish for the moonshine distillery script in his Cottonwood Cove mod (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36680)

To ahztek666 for…oh…I haven’t included any of his weapons in this mod, but he was quite helpful with tips for my future mods 

Ok…I guess that’s enough for description. Let’s hope everything works fine.

Oh…I forgot…author rights:

Do whatever you want with the file, but do credit the ones I’ve credited if you use their work from my file.
