HI the mods looks really good but i have one simple problem i dont have a numpad so is there a way i can change the hortkey from nummpad * to somthing else ? thanks in advance
Here's how to make this work with OHud. It's pretty simple.
1. Change HUD_E.xml to "HUD_Extended.xml" (Or another name not used by other mods). 2. Open OHud's hud_main_menu.xml, and scroll all the way down. 3. Right above </menu> add<include src="HUDE\HUD_Extended.xml"/> (Or whatever you named the HUD_E.xml file | Keep the spaces the same) Done!
This mod still works just fine, and no other mod I know does what it does. Please give it a chance.
How to use it: At the start of a new game, or a fresh install of HUD Extended, the readout will be located midway up the left side of your screen. To reposition it, press and hold the "*" key on the numerical keypad until the rest of the HUD disappears. Then use the arrow keys while continuing to hold down "*". To open the config menu, tap the "*" key. You'll be able to show or hide each stat, and select metric or standard units.
Read the readme's in mods, they are quite helpful (;
If you looking for the ambient temp.esm Here is the link: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34814/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D34814%26preview%3D&pUp=1
Wasn't there a version like this for FO3? I've seen it before but can't find it. I've seen the little figure HUD in the second, fourth, fifth and seventh images that is.
This is a great mod, just what I needed to make my NV experience that little bit more realistic.
However, the repositioning instructions don't work on modern gaming laptops as most of them don't have a numeric keypad. In other words the extra keys are placed with the numbers at the top of the main keyboard so you have to use "shift" to operate them. The problem is that NV doesn't recognise when the shift key is pressed so when I try to reposition the information I just get taken to the favourite weapons menu even with the shift key pressed. Is there another way we can reposition the elements?
Also, I notice that the Imps needs isn't showing up on the HUD either, despite numerous reinstallations. Is there any way to fix this also?
