The first time I played, I dropped into the Atomic Wrangler sometime after doing Atomic Wang Dang Doodle and noticed that Fisto had never showed up for work. Lazy bastard!
Actually, with how slow he goes, and how Fallout seems to sometimes have problems calculating NPC movement outside of the cell you're in, who knows what happened. Was he just trundling along on his ridiculously slow Securiton barrel legs days later? Did he aggro some random thugs and get whalloped? Who knows. The only other solution was to escort him back to the Atomic Wrangler, which... yeah, you're reduced to a walking pace and may still have to stop and let him catch up.
So, just a quick little mod, this ups Fisto's speed quite a bit, and just to be on the safe side I made him Essential. Maybe you took the time to add being eager to do his job to his programming, or worked over those servos, or maybe you just installed a mod into the load order of your videogame, who knows?

1. Unpack file
2. Put .esp in your data folder
3. Click .esp in FOMM or the loader
4. Assume the position
5. ????
6. You can't feel your legs!
