The Weapons

Tomahawk (Thanks to RegentEagle)
Description: An upgraded version of the Hatchet from the standard game.
Special Ability: Speed. The Tomahawk is almost twice as fast as a Hatchet.
How to get: Find in the world (Hint: Buried)

Throwing Tomahawk (Thanks to RegentEagle)
Description: The thrown form of the Tomahawk. Upgraded version of Throwing Hatchets from the standard game.
Special Ability: Weighs a lot less than regular Throwing Hatchets allowing the user to carry more at a time. Faster throw time than Throwing Hatchets too.
How to get: Find them around the world. Chance to find them in place of Throwing Hatchets.

Dynamite Launcher
Description: It launches Dynamite which poses an odd challenge. Hitting your target is hard because of the random way dynamite bounces due to it's shape. Dynamite is more destructive than grenades.
How to get: Create at a workbench or buy at a shop
Crafting Requirement: Guns 50
Ammo: Short Fuse Dynamite

The Ass Cracker
Description: The upgraded Dynamite Launcher.
Special Ability: Has a chance to burn enemies that are hit.
How to get: Find in the world (Hint: Powder Gangers)

Spear Rifle
Description: A heavily modified .308 Sniper Rifle that shoots bullets that expand into deadly spears. Expanding Spears have significantly less range than standard bullets.
How to get: Create at a workbench or buy at a shop
Crafting Requirement: Guns 75
Ammo: Expanding Spears

Where'd My Arm Go?
Description: The upgraded Spear Rife.
Special Ability: Has a chance to scare off other enemies when you kill one with it.
How to get: Find in the world (Hint: NCR)

MiniIncinerator
Description: Minigun gone Incinerator. Very powerful but balanced due to consuming fuel at such a rapid pace.
How to get: Create at a workbench or buy at a shop
Crafting Requirement: Guns 100
Ammo: Flamer Fuel

Flaming Can of Kick Ass
Description: The upgraded MiniIncinerator.
Special Ability: Gives the user fire resistance.
How to get: Find in the world (Hint: The Legion)

The Ammo
 
Expanding Spears
Description: .308 rounds with a special casing that expands out into the shape of a spear when fired.
How to get: Create at a reloading bench, buy from a shop, or find around the world

Short Fuse Dynamite
Description: Dynamite with a cut down fuse
How to get: Create at a reloading bench, buy from a shop, or find around the world

You will now also find slightly more flamer fuel around the world to make the MiniIncinerator more usable.

Installation
Download and install with the mod manager.
For manual install extract .zip file into game Data folder.

Mod Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with most mods.
Leveled lists are lightly touched so a bashed patch is recommended but not required when using this with other mods that edit leveled lists.
Mods that alter vanilla game weapon meshes or animations may lead to unintended graphical glitches with the ModTech weapons.


FAQ
Q: Why did you make this?
A: I lack 3d modeling or animating skills but I wanted to create a weapons mod so I improvised by playing around with projectiles and thought I ended up creating some pretty fun weapons with the vanilla assets. RegentEagle then allowed me to use his Tomahawk model and so I got a nice little pack going.

Q: Is this still a bug riddled mess?
A: No, 1.0 was released when I was much younger and less experienced. Now with 1.5 it is bug free and integrates with the game seamlessly unlike the last version.

Q: Are the weapons overpowered?
A: Not really. They have their pros and cons.

Q: Is this lore-friendly?
A: No but it also isn't exactly anti-lore. These weapons could have existed in the world of Fallout.
