This mod is another attempt at making "That Gun" into the gun we remember. First off is a name change, it is now the .223 Pistol. Vendors will now sell .223 Pistol laser sight and .223 Pistol double trigger mods. The weapon model will update to show the equipped mods.
This mod includes the modded gun meshes from MUW 2.1.2, so no other files are needed.
In addition to the name change, the damage has been bumped to 28 (from 18), the range to 1024 (from 768), the price to $3000 (from $1750 I believe), the original Fallout 1 *BOOM* firing sound restored, and now the .223 Pistol can be repaired by any Service Rifle.
I feel these changes are somewhat balanced, and it definitely makes the gun worth keeping around. Right around the same area of the game we find the Hunting Revolver which is still better than the .223 Pistol, so I find this balanced in regards to damage. The range increase is just to make it a bit more practical. Lastly, the return of the Fallout 1 firing sound was a must for me. I've included 3D and 2D sound profiles to match the behavior of the vanilla firing sound.
