******Bella Version 1.3 includes a fix for the new patch causing the companion wheel to not properly open Bella's Inventory. Bella's inventory is now accessed through dialogue. Go to "Show me your menu's"/"Let's check your inventory". Thank you.*****

Description:
===============

Bella's bunker and compound sits high on a ridge next to the Mojave Outpost (with the ugly statues) just to the south of Primm. She is a fully functioning companion who can stand alone. She has alot of vanilla voiced dialogue and is very customizable.

*******Note-----On Bella's Conpanion Wheel, only the "move back", "heal (give a stimpak)", are being used. All the main companion commands/menus (see below) are accessed through the "talk to" function and are handled by dialogue (the same as in Fallout 3). The wheel is hardcoded into the game and I have not yet figured out how to incorporate all the commands to the wheel.*******

If any of you used my Crystal companion in FO3, then Bella is very similiar to her.

Bella's features are as follows:

(1) Her own hairstyle and eyes are self-contained. (No other mods are required---see credits below)
(2) You can set her up for the following:

(a) Essential (On or Off). By default this is set to ON. You may turn it off for hardcore mode.
(b) Bravery/confidence Level (Cowardly ,Cautious, Average, Brave, or Foolhardy).
(c) Follow Distance, Combat Style, and Agression Style
(d) Change Her Home (anywhere you wish)
(e) Wait (she will wait in a small area near her current location)
(f) Relax (she will make herself at home, eat, sleep and sandbox)
(g) Guard (she will protect a small area near her current location)
(h) Go Home (she will return to her home marker and relax there)
(i) Fired (she will return to her bunker and her key and glasses will be removed from your inventory)

(3) She will give you her Summoning Glasses (teleport her to your location) and a key to her gate/bunker.
(4) Her tag skills are Guns, Sneak and Repair.
(5) She can repair your items if you wish.
(6) She should level to 30 with you and will self-heal out of combat.
(7) She has her own custom armors and weapons, and-----if you are nice---she may even have some extra ones for you to use. There are also additional re-textured nightie/sexy outfits in her wardrobe.
(8) Except for some of the initial hiring dialogue, she is fully vanilla voiced and lip-synced.

The Bunker/Compound features the following:

(1) The compound is fully fenced and has a guard tower, garden, and a nice view of the valley from the picnic/lounge area on the cliff above.
(2) A cooking campfire is next to the garden.
(3) The bunker has all the amenities for the player:

(a) Armory area with workbench, ammo bench, re-spawning ammo supply boxes (DO NOT place anything in the boxes you wish to keep---it will be lost upon re-spawn!), plenty of storage for weapons, armor, etc. as well as extra armors and weapons for the player to use.
(b) Kitchen, dining, livingroom and pool table areas.
(c) Master bedroom with tv area and extra bunks for companions.
(d) Large bathroom with tubs, toilets, sinks, and working showers.
(e) Mechanical area with 'My First Lab' and 'My First Infirmary' equipment. The 2 med kits are re-spawning---DO NOT put anything in them you wish to keep!
(f) The interior rooms have working light switching.

(4) All areas are fully navameshed, have lots of idlemarkers and are very companion friendly.
(5) Once discovered, a map marker will be added to your pipboy.
(6) Some walls, bookcases, Bella's combat armor and outfits, and the bath tile are re-textures by me.

All comments/criticisms are welcome, but please keep it constructive! ;)

Thanks, and I hope you enjoy her---if you do, endorsements are appreciated.

===============
Compatibility:
===============

This mod has been checked and cleaned with FNVEdit (see credits below), and no bugs/conflicts with the main game are present.

===============
Bugs/Issues:
===============

Not all the companion wheel functions work at this time...go to the ' talk to' command to set Bella's menu's/functions.

Some instances of either missing or flickering hair texture have been reported. A possible solution to the issue is to copy the 4 Coolhair60 .dds files from the Data/Textures/Bella/Hair folder and then pasting them into Data/Textures/Characters/Hair folder. If the Characters/Hair folders do not exist, just add them to your folder structure. Thank you.

Lots of thanks to give to all the excellent modders on the Nexus whose work I have admired and dissected for many of the ideas and lessons I've learned so far.

Special thanks to the following:

Earache42 and Grayewolf for Anthony Lings Coiffure (Eyes and Hair): http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34703 (see their readme for individual credits)

Miax(imus) for his excellent tutorials which I am just scratching the surface of so far. The Gimp tutorial: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11324
and his FO3Edit tutorial is a must have: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8629

Cipscis for the Scripting For Beginners found on his website here: http://www.cipscis.com/fallout/tutorials/beginners.aspx , and on the Geck Wiki. I knew/know squat about scripting and his tutorial got me off to a decent start---although I am still just learning to crawl.
