What is This?
This is a beta release of my house mod. Everything seems to be working as it should, but i'm not considiring it finished yet, since there are more things i'd like to add to it. So, with that said, what does it do beyond the obvious?

Alright, but where is it located?
The house will be added Goodspings. It's located in one of the houses on the north side of Goodsprings, one of the houses that was boarded up. You will need to have enough reputation with Goodsprings before the house will be unlocked. Your reputation with Goodsprings will be more then enough by the time you kicked Cobb and his powder gangers out of Goodsprings, after which you can unlock the house.

That's all nice and all, but anything special about it?
You will find a workbench and reloading bench in the house and the stove will act as a campfire, allowing you to craft everything you want right there in your house. Plus it will have storage next to it, making it easier to craft your items.

Crafting is nice, but what about storage? I really like storage.
That is where it get's interesting. You will find a lot of non-respwning containers to store your items in. BUT ... best of all, most of these are semi-automatic sorters. I'll explain the semi-automatic part later. At this time the following sorters are placed in your house:

 • Sorters
 • Surgical Junk Sorter
 • Aid Sorter
 • Grenade Sorter
 • Mine Sorter
 • Ammo Sorter
 • Food Sorter
 • Water Sorter
 • Meat & Egg Sorter
 • Plant Parts Sorter
 • Booze Sorter
 • Nuka Cola Sorter
 • Sarsaparilla Sorter
 • Misc Item Sorter
 • Creature Part Sorter
 • Ammo Crafting Sorter

Hold it, hold it. Before we go on, why are some of those bold?
The sorters in bold are special cases, by default the sorters will place ANY item of a particular type into their own inventory. i.e. if you had 5 purified water on you, the sorter will place all of them in their own inventory. However, the sorters in bold allow you to configure how many it will keep in your inventory. So if you want to keep 3 water in your inventory, you can configure the sorter to take all purified water from you, except 3. Even better, if the sorter notices you only have 2 in your inventory when you use the sorter, and it still has water left in it's inventory, it will supply you with an aditional water. Keeping you supplied with a click of a button.

I see, and how does this work exacly then?
It works by using Loudouts. There are 3 default loudouts stored on your terminal and a fourth one, yours. The default ones are as following:

Default Loadout (Only Aid Items)
This loadout will only keep a certain amount of aid items in your inventory, 5 for most of them, but more stimpaks. The rest will be taken from your inventory by the other sorters when you use them.

[b]MrSlackPants' Loadout (My Settings)
My personal loadout. It will be the same as above, but this one keeps some water in your inventory as well as some grenades and mines.

Empty Loadout (Nothing)
A totaly empty loadout. All sorters will take everything from you and store it.

Custom Loadout (Your saved Loadout)
A special case, which I'll try to explain. When you start, this loadout will be totally empty. i.e. the same as loadout 3. BUT .. you can configure it. With the sorters in bold above you have the option to make an imprint of all relevant items to that sorter in your inventory. i.e. grenades and explosions would be relavant items to the grenade and mine sorter, so it will make an imprint of only these items. Then the amounts will be stored in loadout 4. So, if you where to make an imprint of your inventory at the grenades and explosives sorter and you had 3 plasma grenades in your inventory, loadout 4 will store 3 plasma grenades. Whenever you use the grenade sorter now, it will always try to keep 3 plasma grenades in your inventory.

So, if i understand correctly, the sorters keep me supplies as well?
Indeed. If you have more then a certain amount of items in your inventory, the sorter will take items and keep that amount in your inventory. And if you have less than that amount AND the sorter has still left, it will re-supply you.

Nice and all, but you still haven't told how cumbersome and annoying all the menu's are that the sorters use.
That's the beauty of the system. There are NO menu's on normal use. You simply use your GRAB key on one of the sorters and the sorter will do the rest. Using the normal interaction button on a sorter will simply open the container as usual. So, it's very easy to use.

So, how do i configure the sorters then, if i want to create a loadout for myself?
Simply use the GRAB button while you are SNEAKING. And then choose "Store My Relevant Inventory Amounts". This will store the items relevant to that sorter.

Will I loose my own loadout if I switch to another?
Nope, your own loadout will be stored into seperate variables. Meaning that you can freely switch back and forth between the loadouts, without loosing your settings.

Right, anything else?
Well. There are a couple of sorters that have additional options, like the vending machines. The nuka-cola machine can make ice cold nuka for example, but by default this is turned off. This is because you might want to use your nuka cola for other things. And the sarsaparilla machine has the option to store your Star bottle caps as well if you want.
