In the mid 21st century, an elite American covert operations group began research into the development of stealth-capable power armor. After the bombs dropped, the Project seemed lost... until now.

A chance discovery of the body of a dead Legion spy leads the Courier on a highstakes journey to unlock the secrets of Pre War stealth technology... Inspired in part by the entirely fictional real life exploits of the US Army's beloved Ninja Corps, will you have what it takes to complete a black ops mission centuries in the making?

FEATURES:
- Brand new unmarked quest that will take the Courier across the Mojave in pursuit of a PreWar military research project.
- Extensive backstory, designed with an eye for maintaining and enriching the canonical Fallout universe. Action includes opportunities to explore NCR, Enclave, PreWar US, and Legion espionage, as well as expanded history for Doc Henry, Thomas Hildern, and others.
- New items, including:
______ A stealth capable suit of Power Armor
______ A stealth capable suit of Ranger Combat Armor
______ A stealth capable suit of Chinese Stealth Armor
______ A pair of low damage, ammo-regenerating 9mm pistols
______ Scientific undies
______ Charming sunglasses
______ and various small ingestibles
- Brand new armor crafting recipes for increased ingame immersion.
- A fistful of new locations and characters.
- An epic battle against the Mother of all Cazadors, Cliffracer the Majestic.

Also included are two nonquest versions, for moderate immersion or outright cheating, depending on your taste!
- The QUICKSTART version allows the player to pick up all three completed stealth suits and the crafting recipes in Goodsprings.
- The NO QUEST version skips the quest nonsense. The suits must still be built by the player, but all recipes can be found in the Chinese Stealth Armor crate at Hoover Dam.

WHERE TO START:
To find your first suit of stealth-capable armor, search the Chinese Stealth Armor crate located in the Hoover Dam office level. In addition to the two CSA suits already present in the vanilla game, you will find a note containing instructions on how to fix the CSA's damaged stealth field generators. Upgrade them at any Workbench and enjoy! Please note that you will need an upgraded set of CSA to use the Power and Combat armor recipes.

To begin the quest, go to Novac and search the dead body beneath the overpass east of town. Your new quest is unmarked, but a series of notes and a bit of puzzle solving should set you on track! In case you get really lost, a brief Walkthrough is included with the main download.

INSTALLATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
All the resources you need are located in the .esp. Simply download the file, unzip it, place the .esp of your choice in the Data folder, activate via the launcher, and go! For best results, use only one of the three versions of this mod. This mod is an extension of and fully compatible with my old Type 3 stealth armor mod; there shouldn't be many issues if you were using Type 1 or Type 2, but be aware that this mod may prevent your standard CSA from using it's stealth field until you upgrade it. There are no known conflicts yet with third party stealth armor mods, please be sure to report them if they come up!

The research project is set up in such a way that players who have low Science skills may find it difficult, if not impossible, to complete. There are many Very Hard terminals to hack, and the final recipes each have a steep Science requirement. In addition, the final boss monster can be quite a challenge; I would not recommend tackling this quest until the Courier is at least Level 20, preferably higher.

WARNING: the Power Armor crafting recipe will only work with Enclave style Power Armor, not the far more common Brotherhood or T series versions. If you don't know how to find Enclave Power Armor in game and don't mind spoilers, search the Fallout wiki for "Remnants".

CHEATS:
During the course of developing this mod, I created a special test cell. This test cell contains almost all the custom resources available, including the armor, weapons, and a master password for every locked terminal. It's normally inaccessible from the game, but if you'd like, you may access it at any time by pulling up the console ("~" key on your keyboard) and using the following command:
coc zmodTESTlab
To leave again, simply use any other coc console command, such as "coc Goodsprings".

BETA NOTES:
This release is a playable beta! The quest is fully playable and all armor is functional and craftable (I hope). If you notice ANY issues, or have any suggestions for what else you'd like to see, don't hesitate to speak up! I will be releasing updated versions periodically.

Remember, this is my first "quest" mod, but that's no excuse for shoddy worksmanship! Constructive criticism is just as welcome as praise. Abuse is also welcome, just so long as it's funny.

What's on the plate over the next few releases?
- Bug fixes! Notice any, speak up!
- New conversations with NPCs, as well as optional NCR and Legion endings for players who'd like to hand over their research data to a faction.
- Extended questline to reflect new conversation system.
- Better armor meshes (any mesher/texturer who'd like to offer some models to use is more than welcome to do so!)
- More weapons and clutter items

Known issues:
- Hep Glasses appear lopsided when worn by player. (anyone know how to fix this?)
- Cliffracer experiences some navigation problems due to navmesh and size.

Finally, a few questions for you guys, to help with the next release:
1. Does the quest "flow" properly? Are there any points where you're left completely confused as to what to do next?
2. Should the quest be made marked, or do you think marked quests are too easy and prefer it be left as it is?
3. How's the story so far? Does it fit with the Fallout universe, and would you like to see more stuff involving 99 Zulu?
4. Is the equipment balanced? Do you feel like it's worth the trouble to get, too strong, or maybe not strong enough?
5. Any other issues, fire away!

SPECIAL NOTE:

Most of you are probably wondering what the hell a 99 Zulu actually IS. "99 Zulu" is a running joke in certain sections of the modern US Army; it's a fake MOS designation in the same vein as "69 Xray, Combat Stripper" or "99 Juliet, Army Jedi". When somebody asks you what your job is, you look them straight in the eye and say: "I'm a 99 Zulu, Combat Ninja". If your friend continues to press you with smartass questions, like, "If you're a ninja, how come you're assigned to a Signals unit?" or "Why does your hat say MP?", you just tell them it's part of your cover. 99 Zulus are nothing if not sneaky. HOOAH! ;)
