Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: The legendary Sword of a Thousand Truths. Custom built from the ground up, to defeat evil of the greatest magnitude, it is unlike any sword you\'ve ever seen before. This is the first weapon that Chuck Norris would consider a worthy weapon extension to he\'s arm.

Description
===========
This is the legendary Sword of a Thousand Truths.

Custom built from the ground up, featuring 100% hand crafted original mesh, boasting 454 DPS (318 damage per hit), weighing 7 stones, with a reach of 1.5 meters (50% more reach then the Bumper Sword), features a VAT attack combo: "The Truth Hurts" which turns the target into a flying paste of blood and bones.

The requirements of this sword are: 4 strength. 15 Melee.
The Sword can be repaired with any alcoholic beverage. (Cass can tell you a thing or two about the magical properties of Alcohol) It's durability is the same as the bumper sword, from which the sword grew.
It's visual appearance is quite unique, inspired by Japanese anime and WoW epic weaponary designs of the TBC Era. The whole concept of the sword is a tribute to Southpark's tribute to WoW. Such tributilations...

Location
========
Lodged in the ground of Doc Mitchell's fenced garden is a Sword of epic design. Non have been able to dislodge, lift, remove or blow this sword up! Who could possibly be worthy of wielding The Sword of a Thousand Truths, I wonder!?

Install
=======

1. Extract ZIP file to your "Data" folder within your new vegas install directory. (the meshes and textures folder has to be in your Data folder, incase your extracting the stuff file by file, and not all at once.)
2. Start New Vegas Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the "The Sword of a Thousand Truths.esp" file.
3. Press OK, launch and enjoy!

Uninstall
=========
1. Start New Vegas Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod:
- "The Sword of a Thousand Truths.esp" @ [NVInstallFolder]\Data
- "SOTT6x.NIF" @ [NVInstallFolder]\Data\meshes
- "SOTT6.DDS" & "SOTT6_g.DDS" @ [NVInstallFolder]\Data\textures

Developement
==================
Learning how to add particle effects and meticulously adding improved higher resolution, more efficient textures, featuring scratched/worn dark metal.

Upgrade
=======
1.1 - The mod has been made to work without the Caravan Pack being required.

1.2 - Textures added.

1.3. - Glowing textures added, Improved UV mapping, balanced sister blade born.
1.4. (in developement) - Adding particle animations, and improved textures (scratched, worn dark metal with normal mapping)
Incompatibility
===============
It *might* conflict with mods that modify Doc Mitchell's front garden.
Other then that, this mod is pretty safe. (But like Moore's Law suggests! Don't take my word for it!! ^_^;; )

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
The sword might end up glowing in it's entirety like a uranium rod, instead of only it's sparkly bits. This is due to the fact that Nifskope is the strangest creature I have ever encountered. But so far my tests have always shown the sword to work properly.
The massive size of the texture maps might slow down slower computers. I apologize for my complacency in all things efficiency, but after 1 week of trying to get the glow maps to work, I was at the brink of catatonia and certainly did not want to start from scratch.
Other then that, there are no issues.

11/15/2010 - V.1.0 - First release

11/15/2010 - V.1.1 - Removed "Caravan Pack.ESP" as a requirement for this mod.

11/17/2010 - V.1.2 - Added textures using normal mapping style UV.
11/24/2010 - V.1.3 - Added glow, improved textures. Formal release of sister blade.

11/25/2010 - V.1.3.1 - Re-balanced the SOT (Sword of Truth) to be an upgrade to the Thermic Lance/Chain Saw (by +10 DMG). The SO1KT however remains overpowered.

I am not responsible for any damage incurred to your hardware or software through the use of this mod. Use this mod at your own risk.

The .nif in this mod is open to texturing. All I ask in return is that you give me credit if you distribute any part of this mod. I would also like to know what mods are including my work.

The .nif model (except the textures and it's UV Mapping) can only be modified with my permission.

The stats and functionality of the .esp can be modified, but I cannot be held accountable for hardware or software damage caused by such modifications.
