About this mod

Adds in new quests and super powers, based on the tv series "Heroes". NPCS have dialogue but no voices, made to be as lore and user friendly as possible.

Permissions and credits
Uploaded version 2.5 : fixes for Hiro and Ted have been implemented. Now you will receive the full Technopathy power. Telekinetic Pin changed to Choke. Electric Blast reverted to old version which disintegrates enemies. Kensei sword values adjusted.

About this mod:

So you got shot in the head. But when you woke up things were...different like you could be more do more, and apparently you're going to save the world but in what direction will your new power take you? find out in Fallout Heroes!

Talk to Doc Mitchell after you've chosen either Intuitive Aptitude/Empathic Mimicry to start the quest and get your first power. (to add a trait open the console and type in showtraitmenu)

Installation:
Put all files into the data folder, activate via your mod loader of choice.

Traits:

*Only choose 1 of these traits as having both will mess up some scripts.*

Empathic Mimicry

When you are close to another Hero you will automatically gain their power. You also get +1 charisma, +15 speech and an additional 25 action points.

Intuitive Aptitude

You know how things work and as such you get a bonus of +30 to repair , +1 Perception and 25 action points. However this power comes with a terrible hunger, when you're around other special people you get the uncontrollable urge to rip open their heads and see what makes them tick.

Please Note: if you destroy or damage your victim's head you will not be able to get their power.

Powers: Most powers require AP to be used, overusing a power can have consequences!

Umbrakinesis - Control over shadows and dark light.
Shadow Form: easier sneaking and higher DT
Shadow Swarm: Use AP to call forth shadows to do your bidding.

Life/Death Manipulation - Kill or heal with a single touch.

Super Enhanced Senses - Allows nightvision/telescopic vision and increases perception, highlights enemies and items.

Technopathy - The power to "talk" to machines and computers, allows you to completely ignore hacking and unlock computers for small ap cost. (just activate a terminal like you normally would)
Control: Can turn any robotic enemy into an ally
Shutdown: Shuts down or self destructs any robot

Flying - turn the mouse down to go higher and up to go lower, kinda buggy in that you cant land without dying so you need to use the tgm command in the console to land :/

Vampiric Hemokinesis - A person with this power draws from their victim strength and power through their blood. Some take not only sustenance but energy, life force, thought, and memory. A person with this power may be confused for a vampire by those who are superstitious in nature about such things.

. To use this power activate a dead body whilst sneaking, you get a bloodpack which you can use to make yourself far more powerful for 2 minutes.


Poison Generation - You are immune to all poisons once you get this power
Noxious Gas - releases a deadly gas around you
Generate Poison - Create any poison you want
Acid Spit - self explanatory

Bone Manipulation - this power makes your limbs take 25% less damage

Bone Claws - Grow claws and rip enemies apart (model by theoneness)
Reinforce Bone Mass - Raises DT, increases unarmed damage and raises endurance. This power has a set ap cost and makes you slightly bigger
Bone Spikes - Throw lots of bone spikes that will shred lightly armored opponents
Bone Break - Low damage but cripples limbs

Energy Emission

Optical Energy Blast - Eye laser beam attack, uses lots of ap

Energy Conversion - Allows you to convert energy cells into ap (must have energy cells In inventory)

Energy Shield - Gives high energy resistance, costs 25 ap to maintain.


Telekinesis (powers uses ap but no effects from using it all, it's useful to fall back on)

Pin - throws and holds an enemy, low damage but fun to throw an enemy around with

Explosion - throws everything (buggy if you hit yourself as guns tend to disappear in 3rd person view, no way to fix it except reloading)

Slice - cut enemies up like Sylar

Unlock - You can open doors/containers without bobby pins or lockpicking
Just activate it.

Shield - Gives some extra DT.

Superhuman Strength
Smash through enemies and send them flying with punches! Also increases damage with melee and unarmed weapons, raises strength to 10. This power has a set ap cost, if your arms are crippled you won't be able to use it.


Superhuman Speed
Attack and move very fast, also quicker drawing of weapons. Note: Hot keying this power is not recommended at the moment as it can cause it to work weirdly, you have been warned. This power uses AP, once all AP is used your legs take some damage. If any of your legs are crippled this power cannot be used.

Pyrokinesis
Fire Resistance +50
Kinetic Flames (emits flames from your hands like a flamethrower)
Targeted Combustion (shoots fireballs)

Pretty standard power, has no AP costs but you have to wait for the flame ammo to regenerate so its good to combine with other powers that use AP.

Invisibility
Turn invisible, stops combat when equipped but you have to sneak. Keeping this power active requires 50 AP, once you turn it off you will instantly get the AP back.

Impenetrable skin
Set AP cost but gives you 90 DR, +50 Fire resistance and immunity to poisons.

Induced Radioactivity
Radiation Shield - makes you immune to radiation and fire
Induce Radiation - quickly raises your radiation level so you will get access to:
Radioactive Burst - releases all the radiation in you in a damaging attack
Human Nuke - explode like a small thermonuclear bomb

The radiation attacks require radiation poisoning the higher your rad level the more powerful attack you can unleash, once you use a radiation attack, rad shield will automatically equip so you won’t kill yourself and you will lose all the radiation in you.

You can still die if your radiation level is high enough and you still suffer adverse effects from radiation poisoning.



Electrical Manipulation

Electro-Magnetic Discharge - damages robots/power armor, slight damage to self, costs 25 ap
Electric Blast - Powerful attack but every shot drains your AP, using all AP will net some shock damage.
Power Surge - gives a quick energy boost: regenerates AP, reduces sleep, temporary night vision and an increase to energy weapons skill at the expense of some shock damage. Increases the damage of all powers.


Rapid Cellular Regeneration
Regenerates health, heals radiation slowly and removes poisons. You can increase the healing rate at will which will restore crippled limbs but it drains ap very quickly.


Space/Time Manipulation - can fast travel from anywhere, reveals locations

Time Warp - Slows down everything except you, drains ap quickly and over use can cripple your head.
Stop Time - Freezes time for short period, very buggy.
Teleport - travel to most major locations instantaneously, but it will hurt your head slightly.



Mind Control
Insane Rage (single target) - Makes the target attack everything around them; good for making a group of enemies kill each other. Or causing widespread mayhem.
Nightmare Visions- Terrifies everyone around you (new special effects)
Mind Blast - Cripples targets head and causes heavy fatigue damage (K.O.)


Precognition - this power is constantly active once you get it
Increased Perception +5 and Luck +10
Can see enemy health
Gives the same effect as Ed-E’s Enhanced Sensors

Quest Guide

To begin, choose your trait and then talk to Doctor Mitchell, after that use the new terminal in the room you wake up in to get clues on where the "heroes" can be found. If you have trouble tracking them down look in the readme for a list of locations.

Hidden powers:

Regeneration - look around the crimson caravan company
Technopathy - One of the empty hidden valley bunkers

You can find a hidden house in freeside along the route the fake bodyguard takes you with 3 heroes inside.
